Paste 'do a barrel roll' into Google - See what happens!!
-
Hi,
Paste the words 'do a barrel roll' in Google and see what happens!
-
LOL that is funny!
-
You have to disable google instant predictions in your search settings, if you really wanted to know! Bit daft isn't it.
-
Same Happens when you search "bskew"
-
Search 'Google Gravity' then click back into the search box and remove the 'y' and it should predict (looks like it only works in Firefox and Chrome)
-
How does one hit "i'm feeling lucky" now with the suggested searches jumping straight to the live serp?
-
When I first sore it I honestly thought my PC had been infected with something for a split second.
-
I almost threw up!
-
What Sorcery is this?
-
Uh more, I thought I found something hidden then.
-
Not really a "Q&A", but here are a few more:
- Enter "Google Gravity" in the search bar and hit "I'm feeling lucky"
- Enter "askew" in the search bar

What do people think of Google discouraging guest blogging
Google is recommending that websites nofollow any links from press releases or guest blogging. Do people think this is really the new standard and sites could get penalized for guest blogging with follow links? Is anyone changing their strategy after hearing this announcement? Where does this leave people who work in difficult niches (such as gambling)?

Can't seem to submit my xml sitemap to Baidu, can someone help?
Hello Mozers and SEM's, I'm sure all of you know and understand the importance of uploading your sitemap to search engines. Once search engine in particular is Baidu. For some reason, i can't find a way to submit my link www.mysite.com/sitemap.xml. For Google, Bing, and Yandex it was easy, but Baidu is giving me problems. Don't tell me to "wait until they crawl your site", i have over 1000+ pages of unique content that those other 3 search engines found because of my sitemap; Baidu can't be that slow. Their robots only found 147 pages. 😞 If you take a look at the image attachment, you can see why I'm stuck, i can't read chinese! (and it's an image, so i couldn't translate it). Has anybody had any luck submitting their .xml link into Baidu? Can someone walk me through it? Let me know! Shawn xILP69w

Hey Mozzers, Auctions for new top level domains (examples of top level domains are: .com, .net, .info, .org etc) concluded in the summer and will become available from january 1st. Did anybody bid/buy a new tld or know someone who did? And who has plans to register new exact match domains? My hobby is poker and i have a big passion for it so im already thinking about .poker domains. play.poker, texasholdem.poker etc. Here is an overview with TLD's that will come available:|

Will Google ever begin penalising bad English/grammar in regards to rankings and SEO?
Considering Google seem to be on a great crusade with all their algorithm updates to raise the overall "quality" of content on the Internet, i'm a bit concerned with their seeming lack of action towards penalising sites that contain terrible English. I'm sure you've all noticed this when you attempt to do some proper research via Google and come across an article that "looks" to be what you're after, then you click through and realise it's obviously been either put together in a rush by someone not paying attention or putting much effort in, or been outsourced for cheap labour to another country whose workers aren't (close to being) native speakers. It's getting really old trying to make sense of articles that have completely incorrect grammar, entirely missing words, verb tenses that don't make any sense, randomly over-extravagant adjectives thrown in just as padding, etc. etc. No offense to all those from non-native speaking countries who are attempting to make a few bucks online, but this for me is becoming by far more of an issue in terms of "quality" of information online as opposed to some of the other search issues that are being given higher priority, and it just seems strange that Google have been so blasé about it up to this point - especially given so many of these articles and pages are nothing more than outsourced filler for cheap traffic. I understand it's probably hard to code in something so advanced, but it would go a long way towards making the web a better place in my opinion. Anyone else feeling the same way? Thoughts?

Google Will Penalize Sites Repeatedly Accused Of Copyright Infringement
Has someone filed a large number of DMCA “takedown” requests against your site? If so, look out. That’s the latest penalty that may cause you to rank lower in Google’s search results. It joins other penalties such as “Panda” and “Penguin.” We’re dubbing it the “Emanuel Update” in honor of Hollywood mogul Ari Emanuel, who helped prompt it. What if the Internet ran out of room? In fact, it's already happening.
Have you heard about this - you should of by now! Read the full article here: http://www.google.com/intl/en/ipv6/ My thoughts are the recent updates and those of which that have been undisclosed at this point are closely related to the expanding of the addresses that will be assigned. Why Does OSE (Open Site Explorer) have such little backlink data on russian sites in the google.ru index?
OK this seems v strange, but google.ru are indexing far more BLs in their SERPS for a widget than OSE reports. Very little data is found in OSE for russian based sites. Is this the marketing intention? (I could send raw data if needed!) What is filtering this vast google.ru data list out? Is OSE only catered for US/UK?
