SEO and Pagination on search results

Hi
Our new site is still in beta mode, and I just wanted to check from an SEO perspective that on search results and on the pagination at the bottom of the page, is there anything we need to do so its compatible with the search engines and not have duplicate content issues etc
I have implemented search friendly URL's, but I would welcome any other issues or suggestions you have that will help improve the sites SEO performance
The URL of a search results page is

Doug is correct,
the best practises is to not use ajax on load, only for futher requests.

The site is using AJAX thats why you cant see it. If you want to use AJAX instead of using a page refresh how can you can around the above issue?
Good idea with the category specific content.
Any other recommendations welcome

I'd be concerned that your javascript/ajax loader for the search results is going to hide the actual content from search engines. No point even worrying about the page navigation on these category pages if the content is invisible!
Use webmaster tools to take a look at how googlebot is going to see your site.
Just looking at the source of the page I can't see any mention of the content just the "
" placeholder.
I can't see the page navigation either.
Going forward I'd also try to get some more rich category specific content on the first page of each category...

Hey! I noticed the last few months that a lot of google searches now show an image next to your result when on mobile. i managed to get my listing to show an image before but I made some changes to the image and site and can’t seem to get Google to ahow the new image (or any image). Ecommerce internal search results pages
I'm working on a ecommerce site that allows product search results pages to be sorted a variety of ways (best selling, newest, by price). Each of these search filters creates a new url i.e. /all/best/1 and /all/best/2; /all/new/1 and /all/new/2; etc. These search results pages have been indexed and the site is receiving enough organic traffic from these pages that I don't want to add noindex,follow to them. I am planning on implementing rel=prev,rel=next for each filter, but I'm concerned about duplicate content considering I can't create unique meta data for each page. Should I canonical all pages to the first search results page without filters applied? Or any other ideas on how I should proceed?

Do search engines look for keywords in the slug?
Is it OK to split a key phrase into a slug and file name, or should the entire key phrase be in the file name. For example, consider the following articles: How to wash your car.

How to make video snapshot appear near your search result
What's the proper way to have google display a video near the search result for my webpage (I'm using LeadPlayer to play videos). I think that the information regarding the video is there (I also submitted a video sitemap) but when I do a search the author picture is displayed instead of the video. Have I set anything wrong? How can I display the video if my post contains a video? You can try searching "phraseexpander create customizable templates" There's my youtube video and then the result from my webpage http://www.phraseexpander.com I would like to display the video as a result. Are blank Product Review pages bad for SEO?
Hi there, I'm running a new e-commerce site (BoatOutfitters.com) and have a question about our product review pages. On our current campaign, we have a lot of duplicate page content errors. When we export the data, it's almost all blank product review pages (since we are new, we don't have that many product reviews yet). Our product reviews aren't run through javascript, so we originally did not add them to a robots.txt file - however, I'm now wondering if it's worse to have all of these duplicate blank pages, or is it not affecting our SEO at all? Should we just wait until these products have reviews which will benefit our SEO and then they won't be considered "duplicate pages" - right? Sorry if this has been answered before - new here at SEO Moz and just looking for some help. Thanks!
