Is it safe to publish 3 paid press releases in a single day?
-
Is it a safe bet to publish 3 PAID press releases (on PRleap.com) on the same website on the same day, each having about 10 links to different pages of the same website?
I mean... will search engines spot something fishy is going out there?
-
Thanks for the awesome suggestions Andrew.
The reason why I am asking is that my subscription with them ends on 10th. So either I spend a couple of hundred dollars to extend that subscription for another month (which I don't want to do) or I post my 3 PRs in the next two days to finish my quota for this month.
Now that you tell me its safe, I'll go ahead and post them. All these three are written by myself, are fresh, genuine and meaningful. So, backed by your suggestion and experience, I shouldn't worry at all and shoot them tomorrow/day after.
thanks so much,

Hi Ks__,
As long as they are genuine, well written press releases, you have nothing to worry about. Infact, even if you did use the same PR content across multiple PR submission sites, you would't get into any trouble as such - the search engines would just ignore the duplicate content and not pass any value to your website.
You can imagine how some sites which appear on the front page of Digg/StumbleUpon can potentially receive tens of thousands of links over night - and they rank fine.
That said, does a single PR really need over 10 ten different links? You might want to consider condensing that number to provide a more concise call to action for your readers, and spread the PR submissions out over a few days - don't give away everything all at once!
Hope that helps.
Cheers,
Andrew

Effect of Publishing Blog Posts Resembling Classified Advertisements
Our site (www.nyc-officespace-leader.com) markets commercial real estate for lease in New York City. Any potential negative impact in terms of ranking and traffic by using our blog post in an unconventional manner? I am considering publishing a weekly post describing the latest commercial listings for lease. The post would be formatted and resemble classified advertising appearing in such newspapers as The New York Times. The ads are concise and appealing. Property listings drive a high click thru rate, so I believe blogs posts based on property listings and formatted like old newspaper ads might really improve visitor engagement. Each add could have a link to a corresponding listing page. Would using the blog in this manner every week have a detrimental effect or could prove beneficial? Thoughts??? lr6MIiR

meta robots no follow on page for paid links
Hi I have a page containing paid links. i would like to add no follow attribute to these links
Intermediate & Advanced SEO | | Kung_fu_Panda
but from technical reasons, i can only place meta robots no follow on page level (
is that enough for telling Google that the links in this page are paid and and to prevent Google penlizling the sites that the page link to? Thanks!0 -
Are paid article sites value for money
As a SEO beginner I am still unsure of the best way to build links. I have a article which I'd like to distribute, I've used sites like ezinearticles.com however I feel this is too general so I've targeted some sites which are associated to the industry. Many of the sites I've discovered charge a hefty fee. Before I take the plunge and spend money (I'm a Yorkshireman) I'd like the thoughts and opinions of SEO experts. Is this common practice or are there better, more cost effective ways? Thanks in advance,

How do I best optimise a page with 3 keywords that all contain 1 common word?
I am new to this so still getting to grips with a few things. I have a page here that I want to optimise for 3 keyword phrases. Towels, Egyptian Cotton Towels, Personalised Towels http://www.towelsrus.co.uk/towels/catlist_fnct561.htm SEOmoz reports a huge number of instances of the word towels overall. Title 3 URL 1 Meta Desc 5 H1 3 H2-4 1 Body 83 B / Strong 1 IMG ALT 11 Total Keyword Usage for this Page = 108How could i restructure meta tags and descriptions to still rank for these terms but reduce the level the word towels? Similarly as this is a category how can I reduce the term towels from other on page links? Also any extra advice regarding on page optimisation would be greatly appreciated to help our efforts

Panda 3.7 recovery?
In June '12 we got a bunch of our keyword rankings wacked by Panda 3.7 and haven't recovered. This is really frustrating since we had been hit by the original Panda and spent months fixing our site so that we had recovered in December '11. I've read what I can find about this update to see if there is something specific about it that would have knocked us down again and can't find anything. Does anyone know of any specific issues that this update supposedly "fixed"?

Anyone getting anything from paid submissions?
I was wondering if there was still effectiveness in the finding of directories via: plastic surgery "submit site". Below is an example of the directories I found that offer paid listings into their directory. How do you measure what a good price is versus too expensive? How do you evaluate which directories are worth it? Alexa rank, pr and inbound links? If so what are the metrics you use? Obviously we are purely looking from a rankings/seo perspective because nobody actually uses these directories right? Avia directory pr5 - the featured page your link would be on is pr 4. http://www.avivadirectory.com/Health/Cosmetic-Surgery/

A permanent link is $149 and a annual link is $49 Findelio pr 4 - however page where my liink would be is pr0 http://www.findelio.com/5981/Cosmetic_and_Plastic_Surgery/
One time fee is $39. So although this is much cheaper but the pr is none. So in this instance do you not buy the submission? I do notice some of my competition in some of these directories. Should that be my indicator?
I thought that maybe these companies bought into these directories a long time ago and wouldn't still do so today. Is there more effective uses of my $50, $100 or $150 or whatever? Interested to see what peoples thoughts are on this type of linkbuilding in todays world. Or if that even matters and this will always be beneficial? Thanks!0
