Ok maybe im missing something.

Ok maybe im missing something. I signed up 5/2 I got a complete crawl within a few days. Good information im all excited to work on the changes.
I made a bunch of changes to improve my site. Like I had to many on page links. I made a bunch of changes to fix that problem and some title tag problem.
So now im waiting and waiting to see the changes that I made updated in my campaign and nothing. It said it was running a new crawl last thursday no changes show and then again this thursday now it says may 24 and last scan on the 12th.
My title tag for my home page still shows the old title and I got the links way down I believe under 100 and it still show 200 to 300.
It seems like im just not getting up to date information fast enough.
To pay 99 bucks a month and after 2 weeks no changes seems odd.
Maybe im doing something wrong can someone tell me if this is normal?
I like the data but its not updating.
I want to see that my changes are working and keep making changes and i cant keep waiting and waiting.
Thanks for any ones help.
Ken

My site is very large it scanned 10000 of about 16000 pages my site has. I will give it time to see the changes. Thanks for your input.

Hey Ken, if I remember correctly, it took a few weeks to get updates flowing weekly in my crawl reports. The first major crawl of a site takes a while to cover all the bases. I think that's why they give you that initial quick crawl. But after those few weeks of their crawler getting used to the site I saw updates weekly tracking changes I'd been making. The SEOmoz toolset is well worth the monthly fee based on my experience.

If it's been more then a week, then I would contact the help team at help@seomoz.org
Usualy it's once a week it updates, but one time I did have a (quickly resolved) problem where the crawl didn't happon, so it's not unheard of.
In the meantime, if your site is relitivly small and you have anouther slot, try setting up a new campaign for the site, which will trigger a starter crawl on the new campaign. That will allow you to get some data quickly.

H2 tags always recommended? Or ok without?
Is it ok to have no h2 tags? There are no "keywords" relevant to the product in these example h2 tags. Also, is it ok to not have a PRODUCT DESCRIPTION header, or is it better with that header? It's for a "product page". Examples: <h1>Used Bow Front Desk With Mahogany Laminate</h1> <h2 style="display:inline;">QTY:</h2> 3 - <h2 style="display:inline;">Manufacturer:</h2> Hon <h2>Product Description:</h2> <p>This bow front desk is in excellent condition. It has a beautiful mahogany laminate.</p> OR (no h2 tags or product description header at all) <h1>Used Bow Front Desk With Mahogany Laminate</h1> <p>QTY: 3 - Manufacturer: Hon</p> <p>This bow front desk is in excellent condition. It has a beautiful mahogany laminate.</p> I prefer the last one as it's much simpler, but I'm curious if search engines would prefer the existence of h2 tags in the first version. Thanks,

Missing H1 headings
Hi,
On-Page Optimization | | Colin12
I have an enquiry in relation to missing H1 headings. I am getting a number of these errors reported for collection pages where I am using a full width banner image at the top of the page with no visible description underneath. In these circumstances is it advisable to somehow include a H1 heading or can I ignore it? https://osullivanspharmacy.ie/collections/deep-heat0 -

My main domain is missing in google, subdomain appears instead.
I have two SEO optimised pages in my website targeting different keywords www.example.com <-- main selling page (Pocket Guitar | Guitar Instruments)
On-Page Optimization | | kevinbp
www.example.com/index/ <-- 2nd selling page (Guitar Australia | Guitar Perth) Q: At first my website "www.example.com" is ranking on google first page. Suddenly it disappears and the link "www.example.com/index/" appears instead. No matter what i search, "Pocket Guitar | Guitar Instruments | Guitar Australia | Guitar Perth", the link www.example.com/index/ appears on the front page instead of www.example.com. What is happening to my main domain? Should i be worried?0 -
Multiple keywords over multiple domains - am I missing the point?
This I think, is a conceptual question related to Moz/ KeywordTracking in general. Q: What is a "good" way to setup tracking for keywords across many pages, potentially multiple domains? At present I've identified some keywords that are relevant to our products. That leads me to want to track not just for a specific page, but for their rankings across multiple pages, and potentially at least two domains. One site is our main product site, the other a blog/info site. This is I suppose mostly discovery at this point. Working out what, if any, of our pages are ranking for a full set of keywords that we believe are related to our products. It may be that I'm completely missing the point of tracking, that I'm not using it as intended. I want to learn how our pages track currently (for a bunch of keywords), see that change over time as we make changes, and also visualise what we're strong in and what we're not. To me, this would let me see just where the holes are in our SEO easily. The reason I ask is that it seems I have to manually enter a keyword plus a webpage in Moz. Given I've 20-30 keywords I want to track many pages, this is going to take me "quite some time" (tm). Is there a better way to do what I describe here? Am I missing the point of keyword tracking?

Website was given to someone else, does a "move" or something need to be performed in Webmaster Tools?
A website was given to another person for their business. None of the original webpages remain they have all been removed. There is nothing on that domain now. Is there some notification that needs to be made in webmaster tools to make Google aware of this?

Is it ok to use encoded special characters in meta titles?
I've read blog posts stating that encoding special characters in title tags is both ok and not ok. Any definitive answer out there? Do the extra characters from adding encoding count towards the total number of characters that Google displays in SERPs? Or do they just count as one character?
