Website in a frame
-
Following situation.
Domain A is indexed at google , it use a frame
within this frame a website is hosted from another domain.
Because it not workes proper (all url's where only the main url from domain A)
The webdesigner deleted domain A , the url's are delered from the google index.
(some ranked well) (position 3)
Now all url's from Domain B are in the index , but on a bad position (position 74)
Now i want to move the website from domain A to domain B (and add a redirect 301)
Will domain A gets his position in the google index B ? (All things happened 4 weeks ago)
does anyone have other ideas how to get the position back ?
Thanx in advance

So basically domain B now has domain A content etc without the iframe?
And you are asking if you move it back to the way it was with a 301 redirect from domain B to domain A would you get your rankings back?. If domain A was set out the exact same way as it was originally.
in time theoretically!
yes!
Kind Regards
Neil

The web designer deleted the old website on domain A and replaced it with a website on domain B
for some keywords i had position 3 , with the new domain position 74
What happens when i move the website back to domain A , do i get the positions back. ?

Typically when you do a 301 redirect, you keep the same position. However, keep both pages live until it get's reindexed.

How should one approach pagination on website
This is my first post here so forgive me if I made any mistake while posting it. Say I have one category called News on my website, it gets frequently updated with new posts everyday. So the thing is one article that is sitting on first page of the category, will eventually move down to 2nd page, and then 3rd and then 4th and so on. Now bots will see this article on first page, then index this on second page also and then on third also and so on and this goes on for rest of the articles as well. Will this raise a duplicate flag for the website. How should one approach this problem. I would really not want to use noindex tag here as I do want such pages to get indexed but without getting the duplicate content issue.

Is minor duplicate content on my website okay?
I know duplicate content across multiple websites is not a good thing, however I've always wondered about minor duplicate content on your own website. I know its good practice to have unique content on each page but what about the little stuff. For example on our website certain related pages share the same content in a right sidebar. Such as links to pdf leaflets, or "you can read our blog etc" . Is there a minimum number of repeated words required before its flagged as duplicate content? Another example is a customer gave two testimonials for two of our employees - the testimonials were identical other than the employee names - if these were posted on separate pages is it a problem for the site as a whole or for both those individual pages? Thanks

Duplicate Content: Snippets from Blog on Website
Our company has a website and a blog, each on a separate domain. On our website's home page, we include snippets from some of our blog posts and links to such posts. The snippets include the same photo, title, and first line or so of text. We have been told and am concerned that search engines will categorize this as duplicate content. Any recommendation as to how we can get around this issue aside from not including the blog posts on our site? I imagine we are not the first company to want to do this. www.angelicolaw.com Thanks,

Is it a problem to have the same phone number on two websites in same niche?
is it a problem to have the same phone number on two websites in same niche? For instance if I had two completely different websites for one painting contractor client. All the content is completely different other than the logo and phone. It is in the same niche for "spokane painters and spokane painting contractor" .. will google see the same phone and penalize?

How to SEO a website that is being help back by duplicate content?
We have over 20 websites that sell property. Each website is targeted to a different country. People advertise to sell their property. The websites are not getting to page 1 for the terms we want probably because of duplication issues. If we compare one website with another country website on www.duplicatecontent.net we find it is nearly 70% between one and the other. So we trying to understand why this is. If someone wanted to sell a property in Spain we would create an advert for them but rather than putting this on the back-end of the Spain website it goes on a separate website that does on all countries. We have tried to put nofollow tags so that the country specific website gets acknowledgement of being the original website but the rankings for key-terms will not rise and the duplication % remains nearly 70%. Can anyone suggest the best way forward?

Best approach to create a mobile version of a website
Hi all, I have a customer that wants to create a mobile version of his website, he wants to create a subdomain to redirect visitors to the mobile version and this mobile version will be a separate folder hosted on the same hosting. I'm seeing really good things from frameworks like JqueryMobile but I thinks they are not really SEO friendly since they load pages with Ajax. So, the question is: its ok to use this kind of frameworks or should I create all the html and css by myself? I'm really looking forward to use the frameworks, since its faster and less time consuming than creating the whole site with html. But I don't want to waste time if it will not be SEO friendly. Thanks in advance
