Do I have to set up new SEOmoz campaigns after URL switch?
-
We switched hundreds of pages on our website from dynamic to static URLs (and optimized the static URLs for keywords), and did 301 redirects to the new URLs. Also submitted a new sitemap to Google. This was about a week ago. For my existing SEOmoz campaigns that have crawled since then, it looks like SEOmoz is still looking at all of the old dynamic URLs. Do I have to set up new campaigns with the same keywords in order to get SEOmoz to look at the new URLs, or will the SEOmoz crawlers figure it out over time? Or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks for your help!

Thank you!

SEOmoz crawlers figure it out over time. Just give it a couple weeks. If you have problems, which I doubt, contact help@seomoz.org

Duplicate content in SEOMOZ report
Hi guys, The SEOMOZ report shows there is duplicate content on my Magento ecommerce: footdistrict.com Example: http://footdistrict.com/nike-air-royalty-386169602.html?___store=footdistrict_en Duplicate content shown on the report: http://footdistrict.com/marcas/puma.html?___store=footdistrict_en

http://footdistrict.com/new-balance-gm500mbn.html?___store=footdistrict_en
http://footdistrict.com/new-balance-m400nnb.html?___store=footdistrict_en My guess is that this is due to the fixed footer that we have set where modal windows pop up with delivery info and so on. As such, all the content within it is repeated through all the pages What do you recommend me to remove this duplicate content? I have read about duplicate content issues but they don't usually deal with div tag duplicate issues, modal windows and so on. Thanks Regards0 -

Hi, Has any once else experienced any difference in data between http://lsapi.seomoz.com/linkscape/url-metrics/ and http://pro.seomoz.org/tools/keyword-difficulty Please look at the attached image. For "http://www.webmd.com/diet/guide/choosing-weight-loss-program" and "http://www.freedieting.com/" page authority and domain authority match exactly. The data from "http://lsapi.seomoz.com/linkscape/url-metrics/" was retrieved brely 60 seconds latter after data from "http://pro.seomoz.org/tools/keyword-difficulty". We used our custom app for retrieve data from "http://lsapi.seomoz.com/linkscape/url-metrics/". The columns were matched against the specs given in "http://apiwiki.seomoz.org/w/page/13991153/URL-Metrics-API". We are retrieving following columns 1)ut(Title) 2)ueid(External Links) 3)uid(Links) 4)umrp(mozRank) 5)upa(Page Authority) 6)pda(Domain Authority) Any help will be greatly appreciated. zvFif.jpg

Root or subfolder campaign for e-commerce
Hi there, New to Moz and have just signed up to the pro package. I run a menswear website in the UK, and I want to start a campaign looking at 1 or 2 brands (Money Clothing and Cruyff Trainers). What I would like to know is, when starting a campaign for say Money Clothing, should I use my root domain www.designerboutique-online.com/ or should I use my Money Clothing domain (www.designerboutique-online.com/all-clothing/money-clothing/ ? Then once I do this, do I use my competitors subfolder pages or do I use their root domain? I tried to use 1 competitor as a subfolder and I think it gave an error saying I cannot use / after the domain? Any help on what would be the best approach for me to begin targeting my specific brands and how to compare them against my competitors. Cheers

About the rankings report in the Pro Dashboard, does it track the ranking of every page on a root domain, or just the home page or whichever page you set up the campaign with?
I noticed that one of the pages on my root domain has a #5 rank for a keyword, yet the ranking report says that there are no results in the top 50. So I am assuming it is only tracking the home page. That is one thing I liked about the Rank Tracker, that it would find any page that was ranking on a root domain. Thanks, Lara
