Thank you both! So wordpress is generating one and platinum seo is too. I'm going to try this entry into the themes' function.php:
# Remove WordPress' canonical links remove_action('wp_head', 'rel_canonical');
Fingers crossed...!

Hi,
Your problem is very easy to solve. When I look in to your source of your page. I can see those 2 canonical urls.
The first one is on line number 13 and the second one is on line number 19 (See attached image)
For you, I think the easiest one to remove is the 1st link, That means find the code to generate the 1st canonical url to generate on line number 13 and simply remove that code or change the code as suitably.
It will solve your issue.

Prasad

NoIndex or Rel=Canonical Pagination
Hello, I had a question about noindex and Rel=Canonical on category page pagination. On my site, the category page the meta="robots" has "Index,Follow" tags and the rel="canonical" is the main category page, but when a user sorts the page the meta="robots" changes to "NoIndex, Follow." My question is should the sorted page be name="robots" content="INDEX,FOLLOW" /> since the rel="canonical" is pointing to the main page?? Or does it matter that it is NoIndex?? Any thoughts on this topic would be awesome. Thanks. Main Category Page

"og:description" vs. name="description"
According to Rock Your SEO with Structured Social Sharing "OG description overrides meta description tag." Moz Crawl Diagnostics seems to ignore og:description and only look for meta name="description" - does that mean my meta descriptions tags should be meta name?

The index page for a site I manage has dropped significantly - internal pages rank above it. It's a new site, 2 months old but was ranking at 1st. Any suggestions as to how I can debug this?
