Web 2.0 seo

How to use web 2.0 properties for SEO.IF we are posting articles to Web 2.0 do we need publish one article to all web 2 sites or unique articles to each web 2 site ?
-
Is that something you would feel comfortable explaining to a Google engineer? Also, if search engines did not exist, would you still want to do it?
The search engines want to see content created for users, not for trying to get rankings. Spinning articles doesn't do anyone any good, and they can make the brand look very silly.

Web2.0 sites are the lowest value links you can get imo and a waste of time.
remember
site.wordpress.com and website.wordpress.com are both on the same website, that being Wordpress.
No matter how many links you get on these blog sites, they still only count as 1 linking root domain which doesnt help SEO very much.
Dont waste you time spinning articles to submit on web.20 sites (Senuke X blasts etc) Rather spend your time creating unique articles and publishing them on different REAL websites. This is the difference between "Building" links and "earning links" (which do you think Google prefers)?

Thank you for your reply .What about spinning articles and putting Web 2.0

Try to always create useful and unique content. It's difficult and time-consuming, but well worth it in the end!

Hi Chandana,
No friend you don't submit one article on all web 2.0 sites. you have to unique article for every web 2.0 site.If you submit one article on all web 2.0 google count just 1 backlink.

Updating Youtube Videos: Does this Reset Your Views to 0?
Hello Moz Community, Our team is looking to update a few videos in our Youtube channel but are concerned that doing so will reset the current amount of views to 0 once the change has been made. Would anyone happen to know if this happens or if the views remain the same? Also, how do the updates to the videos affect rank and visibility? Thank you all for your help.

PDFs and SEO
Hello Fellow Mozers! Just curious... can or does Google read PDFs linked on sites? I always assumed they would be "read" much like images are...that is, the bots can't "see" the image they just read the link and title tag. I am doing SEO for a site that has many PDF forms and it just occurred to me that I have no idea about the relationship between PDFs and SEO Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Video SEO: Should I add Video Transcriptions to You Tube Videos Even with Google CC?
So, You Tube allows plenty of room from descriptions. I think 5,000 characters. Google does a poor Closed Caption of our audio. Should I also be adding accurate transcriptions to the description field in YouTube to help my Video SEO. What are the pro's cons and is it worth doing?

SEO for Explicit / Medical Pictures - Will It Hurt Rankings?
I have a client with page 1 rankings for several keywords. He wants to make some updates to his website. He is offering a new service and wants to show before and after photos of the procedure. He is an OB/GYN, so the before/after pictures are very explicit and have full nudity. How will this affect his rankings? Is there something that I can do to tell Google and other SE's that these photos are medical and not pornographic? Should I host them on another domain? Just looking for thoughts and insight. Thank you in advance!

Would 2 Google Places locations help my Google Places ranking?
Hi. Our agency office is located in a "bad" zip code relevant to active businesses who would need our agency services. In a nutshell, we get really bad inquiries who can never afford our services...and it's coming directly from the Google geolocation function. We plan to relocate our offices within 1 year. Would it help us in Google Places if we created a "new" physical office location to cover up the "bad" one we are currently in? We could use a paid location like a UPS Mail Center physical address that is located within a more desiring zip code. Thanks for any input. Jay

As a whitehat SEO how do you manage in a highly competative market?
I have a competator that has literally hundreds of sites like this: http://www.wire-shelf.com/tag/cleaning/ that don't have a huge amount of page authority, but he is getting citations out of all of them. The site is obviously useless, and just a place for some SEO company to keep adding more links to their various clients, and creating google citations for them at the same time. Once you have filled out your information on every single local database and obtained all the legit citations you can, your competitors are still beating you by having more citations, from various sites like the one above. Is there any way to stay whitehat and actually succeed? or should i just follow suit, and make 100 crappy websites full of crap and put links in them. seems silly, but it seems like the only way to compete these days.
