All Keywords Down.

all keywords are down all of a sudden. Any input will be appreciated. Everything was just working fine. Was that a result of Panda or Penguin update?
Under webmaster there is no yellow question mark. Everyhting looks good in "Onpage" optimization. SOS.

Ive never got used to using allow although I know many people do. I simply use:
User-agent: *
Disallow: /cgi-bin/
Sitemap: http://www.aa-rental.com/Where user agent * means all crawlers;
Where disallow: /cgi-bin/ means i dont want them crawling that folder (put in any folder name there) but they can crawl anywhere else...
Sitemap: points to my XML sitemap

Here is more info and my site is aa-rental.com
Since last Friday (09/28/12) all of my keyword ranking is gone. I checked the webmaster and found, among the others, one error:
"access denied"
"1 error found"
when I mouse over this error itt says:
"server requires login or is blocking googlebot"
Im trying to see if this thing has to do with the sudden drop of ranking? I have other sites on the webmaster and none of them is showing this type of error. And they are ranking fine.
Also when I check individual urls they are there (indexed).
Another thing, robots.txt is configured like this since from day 1:
User-agent: *
Allow: /Is this the correct format?

It is not seasonal. I have seen keywords going up/down but this time they are gone from first 500. This never happened to my site ever before. We are in businesss since 1996.

Is it from all search engines that you have a decrease in traffic, or just Google?
Is there any increase in (not provided) that would account for traffic to other keywords going down?
Have you made changes to your site recently?
Has a new competitor moved into your space?
Are the keywords at all seasonal? Extreme example, but in January you would expect searches for Christmas to go down, for instance.

I am not sure how to respond to it as your information is quite less...at least prove the URL so that i can exactly look in to the issue and can help you with possible fixes...
At the moment i can say this can be Panda, Penguin and if you have the exact match domain then this can be one of the possibilities as Goole comes up with a small algorithm update about EMD.
Try to provide the URL so that we all can get more in to your problem in specific....

Don't look for a question mark, go to the site's profile and look for an email - it will tell you that Google has found unnatural links. Keep in mind that sometimes these emails come 4 or 5 days after the [penalty has been applied. You may have to wait a few days (unless this happened some time ago).
If it's Penguin you wont get a notification. Others may disagree but the Penguin recoveries Ive performed were almost exclusively due to a higher than "natural" appearance of keyword anchor text links in the link profile. If you check your backlinks in OSE, and find that you have a high percentage of links that all use your money kw, then yo will need to have those backlinks diversified.

Stay on top of news my friend. There was a new Google update for exact match domains and allot of innocent by-standards were hit with shrapnel.

Repetitive Speaker and Keyword Stuffing Penalty
This question is a little bit on the whimsical side. Let's say you have a video on your page, and a transcript of said video. The speaker has a tendency to repeat a certain (key)word, somewhat excessively. Maybe it's an important term for a technical video, maybe it's a nervous thing, whatever -- that word is in there a lot. If you include a video transcript, could you get slapped with a keyword stuffing penalty for excessive use of said word?

Improve rankings for keywords...you can't display!
Hey, I've read the art of seo (great book!) as well as numerous publications and blogs, forums, etc., but i cannot quite figure that. We are trying to improve the ranking for a website. Now, our partners don't want to tarnish their image, so we cannot use certain keywords, that we need to rank for (i.e. the users are looking for). With meta keywords being dead, what are the ways we can optimize for these keywords not being conspicuous? All onpage efforts seem vain. To be more concrete, let's say your site is selling widgets from brands A, B and C, and users will look for "widgets" in search engines, but A, B, and C don't want that you advertise/display "widgets" on your site, as it might hurt their brand image. Hos do you do that?!

Local Keyword vs Business Name in URL
I am working with a local business owner who has purchased multiple domains. One includes the geographic area she serves and the type of business she runs. The other includes her business name and the type of business she runs. She is unsure of which domain she would like to use as the main URL for her business website. When choosing a domain for a small, local business, would you consider it advantageous to have the main geographic area that the business serves in the URL rather than the actual name of the business? What would be the best use of domain name which isn't selected from a SEO standpoint?

Is it a bad idea to include a single keyword phrase at the end of the business name in Google Places?
I'm concerned about this for local SEO and citation purposes. It's not spammy and it flows well, and it sounds like a logical extension of our name, but I'm concerned that it will make it harder for Google to pick up our citations. Any thoughts?
