Google does not show my website anymore
-
Hi All,
We developed a new website for the domain: www.instral.com.
Before we build the webste, the domain was indexed by google and was showed as first result on a search "Instral". Without a website! Only a super simple hostingprovider webpage.
Now, with the new website, all the website pages are found in google from page 7... home page is not even in the results.
When i search on "instral.com" in google, it will show my website on first result including homepage.
Is there something wrong with the website or DNS settings? Or mabe some other webhosting setting... am i on a blacklist or something? Bing and Yahoo are showing better results (first page).
I hope someone can help me out here...

Update: It seems to be working!
I just searched instral and found you #1 for instral.com

Hi Kevin,
Once you have searched for instral and actually gone to the site, personalization will ensure that you get the result you were looking for.
I confess, there's a mean girl inside me who's tempted to sit all day and search instral, then instaloans, then instral...instaloans...instral...lol
Is it possible to push the boundary and get some kind of different result?...hmmm

Hi Sha,
I think you are right. Funny thing is...its working OK since today.
Perhaps i just needed your magic click
Thanks for your reply.

Thank you so much for your quick response! Lets give it some time then and in the mean time we use seomoz for some optimalisation

Hi Kevin,
The problem you are seeing is that Google does not recognize Instral as a highly sought after term and since they pride themselves on being "oh so helpful", the results returned are for the term "instaloans"
If you click the link to say "no, I really did want to search for instral" then you will get the result you were expecting.
Time to get a few dozen of your mates searching for your name and clicking the link from all over the place (oops, did I suggest that??)

I had the same issue with my brands & sites for awhile.
I am "High on SEO" - imagine how hard it is to rank for that term when so many agencies tell their clients they can get them "higher search rankings" and "improve SEO" and "higher SEO rankings" - it was brutal at first.
After awhile, Google started to realize that even though Facebook and LinkedIn are more authority sites than my domain, a search for my brand should return my site. Now a search for highonseo or High on SEO returns my site #1 almost always.
I think all that happened was time - I had to wait for this result to be #1 nearly all the time.
Same thing happened to my photography site. Searching for Best Day Photo without the quotes, and it wasn't top 5 pages. Now it's #1 logged out.
Google will eventually figure out that this is your brand name and the .com is relevant to the search. Just follow good SEO practices and link building. Be a bit patient and the results will show you soon.

Google indexing is slowing down?
I have up to 20 million unique pages, and so far I've only submitted about 30k of them on my sitemap. We had a few load related errors during googles initial visits, and it thought some were duplicates, but we fixed all that. We haven't gotten a crawl related error for 2 weeks now. Google appears to be indexing fewer and fewer urls every time it visits. Any ideas why? I am not sure how to get all our pages indexed if its going to operate like this... love some help thanks! Home Pages of Several Websites are disappearing / reappearing in Google Index
Hi, I periodically use the Google site command to confirm that our client's websites are fully indexed. Over the past few months I have noticed a very strange phenomenon which is happening for a small subset of our client's websites... basically the home page keeps disappearing and reappearing in the Google index every few days. This is isolated to a few of our client's websites and I have also noticed that it is happening for some of our client's competitor's websites (over which we have absolutely no control). In the past I have been led to believe that the absence of the home page in the index could imply a penalty of some sort. This does not seem to be the case since these sites continue to rank the same in various Google searches regardless of whether or not the home page is listed in the index. Below are some examples of sites of our clients where the home page is currently not indexed - although they may be indexed by the time you read this and try it yourself. Note that most of our clients are in Canada. My questions are: 1. has anyone else experienced/noticed this? 2. any thoughts on whether this could imply some sort of penalty? or could it just be a bug in Google? 3. does Google offer a way to report stuff like this? Note that we have been building websites for over 10 years so we have long been aware of issues like www vs. non-www, canonicalization, and meta content="noindex" (been there done that in 2005). I could be wrong but I do not believe that the site would keep disappearing and reappearing if something like this was the issue. Please feel free to scrutinize the home pages to see if I have overlooked something obvious - I AM getting old. site:dietrichlaw.ca - this site has continually ranked in the top 3 for [kitchener personal injury lawyers] for many years. site:burntucker.com - since we took over this site last year it has moved up to page 1 for [ottawa personal injury lawyers] site:bolandhowe.com - #1 for [aurora personal injury lawyers] site:imranlaw.ca - continually ranked in the top 3 for [mississauga immigration lawyers]. site:canadaenergy.ca - ranks #3 for [ontario hydro plans] Thanks in advance! On our site by mistake some wrong links were entered and google crawled them. We have fixed those links. But they still show up in Not Found Errors. Should we just mark them as fixed? Or what is the best way to deal with them?
Some parameter was not sent. So the link was read as : null/city, null/country instead cityname/city

Google Update Frequency
Hi, I recently found a large number of duplicate pages on our site that we didn't know existed (our third-party review provider was creating a separate page for each product whether it was reviewed or not - the ones not reviewed are almost identical so they have been no indexed. Question - how long do you have to typically wait for Google to pick this up On our site? Is it a normal crawl or do we need to wait for the next Panda review (if there is such a thing)? Thanks much.

2 websites 1 Google account?
quick question, I have set up my second website purely for seasonal stock so getting it online early ready for when the time is right. But i only have a single web master tools & ad words account, would there be any problem with the single accounts having the details for both websites? or would it be wise to have separate accounts for each site?

Has google panelized us ? If so, why ? How do I know if our website is panelized ?
We were ranked on first page among top 5 position a year ago for most of our pages. On one fine day, google decided to drop us from the results although google keeps indexing our pages. Google index our pages regularly but doesn't show them in its results. All google traffic we receive is for our own site name and its variations. I wanted to know - how do we know if google has panelized us. Why has google panelized us ? If they have panelized us, what can we do to get out of it ? Also I wanted to know if any tool will help me identify such thing. We have not done any link building. Our site page rank is 4 (it was 5 few months ago). All we did was on page optimization. Thanks for your help!
