Press Release Company
-
I'm wanting to submit press releases to PRNewswire, BusinessWire and MarketWire.... but I dont want to take the time to fill out forms and fax them back, or pay the initial membership fees.
Are there companies that just take the press release that you've written, and then send them out to these services?
Where can I find such a company?

I've heard great things about Eric Ward's URLWire. Especially if you've got content that lends itself to social shares. At $495 it ain't cheap, though...

Not sure if it would be a good idea to submit the same release to all services (if you were planning on doing that).
Public Relation firms have been around before the internet. Like SEO firms, you'll find large agencies that charge a monthly retainer (usually pretty costly), to the one man band company and everything in between. I guess my point is PR agencies, like any other business will charge you for their time and from my experience its not cheap.
You may be better off selecting one wire service, paying the fee and sending your releases through them yourself. In the past we've used BusinessWire and PRNewswire with success.

Any top digital agency should be able to fulfill your syndication request. I'd refer to the list of SEOmoz recommended providers.

Could you please link to a few of the more reputable providers? Or is it like SEO, where thousands of companies exist?
-
Any Online PR service provider should be able to assist you. They already have established accounts with these agencies and you can also avail discounts through them.

Standardising of Company Name Across The Web Question
Good Morning All There are two variations of our company name on the website. Sometimes the name is listed as "name and name" and sometimes listed as "name & name" The domain is obviously www.nameandname.co.uk I believe I am correct in saying that we would be wise to go through and standardise, using one form or the other? Secondly, my main question is would we be wise to use "name and name" as the default, as the word "and" and not the symbol "&" is in the domain itself? Many Thanks

Looking to create a Press Release - Any decent sites out there?
Hey guys, I'm wondering whether you could point me in the right direction of a reputable PR site to use? I realise that many of these sites have been devalued over recent years but I wanted to produce something for a client after they struck-up a fairly notable connection with another company in their industry. Or should I just avoid PR sites altogether? Oh, and I'd prefer them to be free if possible 🙂

Should I add follow my followers in a company page on G+ ?
Hi All, On one hand, if I follow them they are happy and receive a notice that they are being followed and will probably be more agile to plus my writings. On the other, it is unreasonable for me to follow everyone... and I think that as a brand I should watch very carefully who I follow. Thanks

Authorship/publisher markup - Author photo vs. company logo
I'm trying to get a company logo to show up next to the search results for a search on [company name] AND a separate author photo to show next to the About page of the author of the same site for a search on [author name] There is author markup on the company's "About" page and Google's structured data testing tool shows that that page is correctly configured to show the author pic. There is publisher markup on the home page and the tool shows that the page is correctly configured to show the company logo. However, no company logo shows up in the search results for the [company name] search--just an author pic next to the "about" page for the [author name] search. if I add author markup to the homepage in addition to the publisher markup, I get the author pic showing up for both [author name] and [company name] searches. How is anyone making this work? Thanks.

Are there any companies out there that can do Search Retargeting on a local level? I'd like to target a Metro area, or even a large city.

Questions about Press Releases
Are sites such as Marketwire, PRWeb, PRnewswire, BusinessWire, e-Releases and PitchEngine good for editorial back links? Also, if I have a press release on PRWeb, for example, can I have the EXACT same one on Martketwire, etc or do I need to worry about duplicate content?
