Google didn't indexed my domain.
-
I bought *out.com more than 1 year, google bot even don't come, then I put the domain to the domain parking. what can I do? I want google index me.
-
While this may not have been a parking problem before, it is now. Google intentionally delists parked websites. Put at least something on the site and I'll get it indexed almost immediately. The site doesn't even resolve. Google won't include that in their index.
-
Thanks.
-
If you can PM me the whole link, I can get it indexed for you in a couple hours - or at least I'd love to try! I know some stuff that always works.
-
Thanks for the anwser peter, I will re-build this site, then "fetch as google". Hope it works.
-
It looks like the site was indexed at some point in the past, but I can't find it currently. Unfortunately, that could be a sign of quality problems and even potentially a past penalty. It's very hard to prove that from limited information, though.
I agree with Sha that the parked domain issue can be a problem. In the past year, Google has worked to de-index more and more parked domains and try to clean up sites they consider to have no value. Some parked domains still get listed - that's true - but that number is declining all the time. If you want the site to have a fighting chance, I'd put some kind of placeholder page up with at least basic copy and META data. Then submit that to GWT and at least set up your social profiles, etc.
Truthfully, without that, why does it even matter if Google has indexed the site? You're not going to rank for anything useful on a default parked-domain page, and no one could do anything even if they did find you.
-
Hi Sha, it's not true.
-
many domain was parked is listing in google.
-
I just put this domain to domain parking two weeks, this domain never indexed in google before two weeks either. It's not parking problem.
Forgive my poor english, english it's not my mother language.

-
No, never, I do nothing for this domain, I usually do linkbuilding for a site after indexed.
-
Hi Bian,
The domain is indexed (it appears in the Google search results), but since the domain is expired and parked, there is nothing else to see...just a parked page.

Have you done anything in the way of linking, social outreach, engagement with sites/forums/bloggers in the industry, etc?
-
I did add it to Google Webmaster Tool, no bot come, no anything happened.
Also I "fetch as google", still not work.
-
Did you add it in the Google Webmaster Tools?
(Just in case, how to add: http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1352276)

Removing indexed internal search pages from Google when it's driving lots of traffic?
Hi I'm working on an E-Commerce site and the internal Search results page is our 3rd most popular landing page. I've also seen Google has often used this page as a "Google-selected canonical" on Search Console on a few pages, and it has thousands of these Search pages indexed. Hoping you can help with the below: To remove these results, is it as simple as adding "noindex/follow" to Search pages? Should I do it incrementally? There are parameters (brand, colour, size, etc.) in the indexed results and maybe I should block each one of them over time. Will there be an initial negative impact on results I should warn others about? Thanks!

Google's Knowledge Panel
Hi Moz Community. Has anyone noticed a pattern in the websites that Google pulls in to populate knowledge Panels? For example, for a lot of queries Google keeps pulling data from a specific source over and over again, and the data shown in the Knowledge Panel isn't on the target page. Is it possible that Google simply favors some sites over others and no matter what you do, you'll never make it into the Knowledge box? Thanks.

Our client's web property recently switched over to secure pages (https) however there non secure pages (http) are still being indexed in Google. Should we request in GWMT to have the non secure pages deindexed?
Our client recently switched over to https via new SSL. They have also implemented rel canonicals for most of their internal webpages (that point to the https). However many of their non secure webpages are still being indexed by Google. We have access to their GWMT for both the secure and non secure pages.

Should we just let Google figure out what to do with the non secure pages? We would like to setup 301 redirects from the old non secure pages to the new secure pages, but were not sure if this is going to happen. We thought about requesting in GWMT for Google to remove the non secure pages. However we felt this was pretty drastic. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.0 -
Pages are Indexed but not Cached by Google. Why?
Here's an example: I get a 404 error for this: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://www.qjamba.com/restaurants-coupons/ferguson/mo/all But a search for qjamba restaurant coupons gives a clear result as does this: site:http://www.qjamba.com/restaurants-coupons/ferguson/mo/all What is going on? How can this page be indexed but not in the Google cache? I should make clear that the page is not showing up with any kind of error in webmaster tools, and Google has been crawling pages just fine. This particular page was fetched by Google yesterday with no problems, and even crawled again twice today by Google Yet, no cache.

Client Can't Write His Own Articles
Hello, I'm helping a client put together an FAQ and 5 thorough, graphically stimulating, articles. The client can easily write his FAQ articles. However, he's not knowledgeable enough to write the 5 thorough articles, and hiring an expert to write them from scratch would cost a huge chunk of money. Should we have a writer put together an outline or rough draft and present that to the expert for editing? The client can afford that. Or what's the best way to move forward without costing a huge amount of money?

Is 404'ing a page enough to remove it from Google's index?
We set some pages to 404 status about 7 months ago, but they are still showing in Google's index (as 404's). Is there anything else I need to do to remove these?
