SEO quandary advice needed

I'm in a bind, I've been working on my SEO for a while now and have finally landed on the top page for [fishing kayak reviews] in Google US. The problem is it's not the page I want to be ranked! I've recently updated my reviews component to a more robust system but the url is slightly different.
Looking currently [Reviews without Images] http://www.yakangler.com/fishing-kayak-reviews is ranking in Google but I would like [Reviews with Images] http://www.yakangler.com/fishing-kayak-review to rank instead.
What would be the best solution for this problem?
Adjust the url for [Reviews with Images] so it take the place of [Reviews without Images]? Do you think I will get any negative impacts from this?
-
I'm not quite understanding the purposes of having two pages here. I took a quick glance, but it looks like the 2 pages are two different views of the same content. I would just consolidate the pages into one by 301 redirecting the text-based view to the graphical view that way everyone wins.

regard the first bullet point
http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2013/04/5-common-mistakes-with-relcanonical.html
-
You could rel=canonical the page that is ranking to the URL of the page that isn't?
That would consolidate the rank and reputation of the old URL and the new one.
-
I would not do that.
My method would be to improve the page that you want to rank. Make it fantastically better.
Other people would promote their page.
-
I don't think /...-reviews is ranking higher because of the content so I'd bet that putting the content from /...-review onto /...-reviews would only help /...-reviews to rank better. You could make both pages exactly the same and rel=canonical /...-reviews to /...-review . Or you could simply revise /...-reviews and take the other page down.
-
EGOL do you think it would negatively affect me if I swap it so www.yakangler.com/kayak-fishing-review is www.yakangler.com/kayak-fishing-reviews?
-
Nice work!
Now figure out a way to promote your better page for the visitors who will arrive.
Also, improve the page that is currently ranking.
-
When I said links I did not mean the urls, I meant incoming links.
Assuming both pages have no links, then swapping the urls will not do anything, as Google like one page more then the other, and it will re-rank then after its next crawl.
But if the older page has incoming links then it may well work.
-
The links are slightly different
www.yakangler.com/fishing-kayak-reviews
www.yakangler.com/fishing-kayak-review
the one with the s has just been around forever the one without the s is new.
Do you think it would be better to change the one without the s so it take the place of the one with the s? (if that makes any sense)
Also do you think Google will like the plain page with hardly any actual words and just links or the one with photos and words better?
-
considering links are the same, swaping urls will not work as when google crawls the content it will again rank the content it thinks is best.

Multiregional SEO - different website designs
Hello, when it comes to location & language targeting, is it possible to have different website page designs for their respective regions? So let's say we have one design for www.example.com/product-1 and a completely different design for www.example.com/us/product-1? Our branding is different for the US so would ideally like to use specific US designs for US pages. Thanks,

Crawler issues on subdomain - Need resolving?
Hey Guys, I'm fairly new to the world of SEO and have a ton of crawler issues with a friends website I'm doing some work on. After Moz did a site crawl I'm getting loads of errors (Total of 100+ for critical crawler, content and meta data). Most of these are due to broken social links on a subdomain - so my question is do I need to resolve all of the errors even if they are on a sub-domain? Will it affect the primary website? Thanks, Jack

JavaScript page loader - SEO impact
Hello all,
Technical SEO | | Lvet
I am working on a site that has a bizarre page load system. All pages get loaded trough the same Javascript snippet, for example: Changing the values in the form changes the page that is loaded. The most incredible thing is that, against my expectations, pages do get indexed by Google.
My question is: "Does loading pages dynamically using JavaScript affect the overall SEO performance?" Why are pages getting indexed? Thank you for shedding light on this.
Cheers

Wordpress pagination and SEO
Hello Mozzers, We have incorporated Wordpress blog in our website. The blog has a fair share of what we believe is a valuable content both for the users and SEO. We have reached the point where our content is getting pushed out to pages 2, 3 and etc. 99% of the older content is still relevant and useful. However it does get less traffic from the users because it is not on the front page. I am dealing with it by showing "related posts" and get some traffic through that. I feel that the content that got pushed from the front page of the blog gets less love from search engines as well. The my permalink structure is /%postname%/ only, however when Wordpress adds page/1/ the SEO ranking appears to drop. Is it because Wordpress adds page/1/ to the address? What is a good way to optimize is? I have 15 posts showing on the front page should I increase it?

Google Blogger Intergration, any SEO benefit?
I want to use google blogger for my website blog, we want to intergrate it into the existing website (which is why wordpress isn't ideal as there is no php) if the domain was www.blog.mysite.com will www.mysite.com still recieve the seo bonuses of having a blog? or does it have to be www.mysite.com/blog otherwise i have little use for a blog, what i also want to ask is how does it intergrate? i don't want the blog on my site to be like a 'window' into the google blog site as that defeats the purpose, i need the content to actually be on my site to ensure the seo benefits. Thanks Dan

Removing images from site and Image Sitemap SEO advice
Hello again, I have received an update request where they want me to remove images from this site (as of now its a bunch of thumbnails) current page design: http://1stimpressions.com/portfolio/car-wraps/ and turn it into a new design which utilized a slider (such as this): http://1stimpressions.com/portfolio/ They don't want the thumbnails on the page anymore. My question is since my site has a image sitemap that has been indexed will removing all the images hurt my SEO greatly? What would the recommended steps to take to reduce any SEO damage be, if so? Thank you again for your help, always great and very helpful feedback! 🙂 cheers!

What are your thoughts on Twylah and SEO?
I recently signed up for Twylah. If you are not familiar with it, Twylah creates a summary of all your tweets, which you can then add to your site to make them easily accessible for humans and for search engines. On first glance I am really liking this idea, however after adding Twylah to our site, our crawl diagnostics took a major spike in errors and alerts: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/90501/static/Diagnostics%20After%20Twylah.png Here is our Twylah page: http://tweets.hingeheads.com I am not a SEO expert, but the number of errors is worrying me. Are we getting penalized by Search Engines/Google because of the high number in errors/alerts? Curious to hear your thoughts. P.S. I have fwd this to the Twylah team. They will get back to me in the next few days.Diagnostics%20After%20Twylah.png
