Updating Meta Keywords
-
Hi
I am going through the process of cleaning up the SEO on my blog www.shoottokyo.com. Someone recommended that I can use ScreamingFrog to find the location of 4xx errors and I noticed that there are Meta Keywords on about 200 of my posts but some of them are wrong such as it mentions my old city I lived in or my old camera I used to use. I want to clean these up.
If I look on the post itself in Wordpress I don't even this this information. Where can I edit it? Is there a way to easily edit across multiple posts? I previously used All in One SEO perhaps these came from that and I need to reinstall that to clean this up?
I'm new to all of this expect a lot of questions.
Thanks
Dave

Thanks Thomas. I can see the Meta Keywords 2 but not the 1 for some reasons. It doesn't look like it is hurting anything so I'm going to leave it alone for now. FTP is out of my depth. Thanks for your help!

Hi David,
instal yoast then instal the transport plugin
are you useing a SEO plugin?
if not is your wordpress theame maker listed?
If yes use the transport plugin to import the media data
Make shure you delete the old data by checking the box in transportER
This will put it all in Yoast then you can get rid of it.
If that dose not work you will have to use FTP or SFTP and go to the page and clean it up.
You can see the keywords if you use show page sources as shown in the 3ed box up.

Frist use here http://wordpress.org/plugins/seo-data-transporter/ to move you old keyword & new to one place
seen hear
http://yoast.com/all-in-one-seo-pack-migration/
This imports all the meta descriptions, meta keywords and titles that you entered into All In One SEO Pack. Should this, for any reason what so ever, not work, then you can use the brilliant SEO Data Transporter plugin. This plugin allows you to move SEO data back and forth between several theme platforms and plugins, so it would also allow you to migrate to WordPress SEO from other plugins like Ultimate SEO.
I hope I have been of help,
Tom

Where do I modify it? When I go to the actual page or post in Wordpress I can't seem to find the Meta Keywords that Screaming Frog is able to find.
Somehow Wordpress thinks I want this as a Meta Keyword for every page.
Where I can change this?
-
In screaming frog Seo spider simply export your findings to an XML file then click on the URL that how's your content that you are looking for found in the XML. then modify it

Ranking keyword ecommerce product
Hi guys, I run an ecommerce store footdistrict.com. We sell sneakers. My question relates to the name of some of my products and how to rank for them. This concerns to the shoes from New Balance The name of this products follows this format: New Balance XXNumberXXX . But actually I have realized I am ranking for New Balance XXNumber XXX . Note the space between the number and the last 3 characters. All my titles, h1, keywords follow this format. Example: New Balance WL574 RUP vs New Balance WL574RUP My questions are: 1. How would you determine which keyword to rank for: New Balance XXNumberXXX or New Balance XXNumber XXX? I have thought of using analytics data to see the pattern of the users search or maybe the difficulty of the keyword? I am receiving a decent amount of traffic for New Balance XXNumber XXX but I wonder if it'd be higher ranking for New Balance XXNumberXXX 2. Does the algorithmn take into account this space? According to the On page Grader, I have an A for New Balance XXNumber XXX and a F for New Balance XXNumber XXX but I assume the engine doesn't work this way 3. What would you do? Thanks very much Kind regards

On Page Reports for Long-Tail Keywords?
First Q&A here, so take it easy on me. Hopefully this is not a dumb question. 99% of the on page reports I look at are for local keywords. I'm finding that some of the page reports get and F where they should be receiving A's. I noticed if I manage a long-tail keyword like "books in houston tx" that I get a grade based on the exact phrase as opposed to a combination of the keywords. So when I have text in the body saying "books in the Houston area" or "Houston Books" for example, instead of using my exact managed keyword, it will tell me that the keyword is not mentioned in the body anywhere. When it is, it's just not in the exact order... I'm trying to write my pages for users and I don't think the users want to hear "books in houston tx" several times. If I do a report on the same page for the keyword "books" I get an A. So this is where it gets a little in the grey area for me. I need a solid on page report for local long-tail search terms. Anyone have any advice? Is there a way I could be using this tool to better suit my needs?

Keyword Ranking Report: does the organic traffic data take into account visitors logged into Google?
Hi there In Google Analytics, if a visitor to your website is logged into Google at the time of searching, the referral keyword is registered as 'unknown'. So, I am curious as to how the traffic data for any given keyword in my campaign is calculated? Thanks Laurie

Is There a Tool to Link Moz Keyword Rankings With Google Adwords Campaigns?
I wanted to know if there is a tool or other way to automatically link my Moz keyword rankings with my Google Adwords account for the purpose of allowing me to "pause" Adwords campaigns for keywords for which I rank well in the SERP's and to "activate" Adwords for keywords for which I do not rank well. Since these rankings can change from week to week, it would be great to be able to turn on and off Adwords for specific keywords depending upon my rankings that week.

Can I specify a url for a keyword in the rank checker tool?
Hello! I'm new to seomoz and excited to learn the system. I created a campaign and added keywords but I'm not clear how the seomoz campaign rankings tool works. As an example, one of my keywords 'cigar cutters' is reporting at position 20 for url http://www.cheaphumidors.com/c_guillotine-cutters.html. However, I think it would be better target to focus that keyword on http://www.cheaphumidors.com/c_cutters.html. as a search for 'cigar cutters' could encompass either a guillotine cutter, punch cutter or cigar scissors. Is there any way to assign http://www.cheaphumidors.com/c_cutters.html to the term 'cigar cutters' in the campaign ranking report? Brian

A tool for seeing all the keywords a website ranks for
As title, is there a tool out there that will allow you to see all the keywords a website ranks for in the first few pages of a particlur search engine? I would be particularly interested for keywords in the first 10 pages of Google. Thanks
