Thank you for your answer.
Looking for SEO person or company to audit / test the site for possible issues. The site has seen a significant drop in ranking, any recommendations.
-
I just went to the site in both Firefox and Chrome and I am getting the http protocol. My guess is that your site with the https is cached in Firefox and that's why you are seeing it. Have you tried clearing your cache and restarting your browser?
-
It looks like it is a cache problem to me, everything works on this end.
One thing I would recommend is adding a redirect, redirecting your general pages to the non secure http. All of your pages seem to be able to be accessed with both protocols. I would leave the checkout process, login, user account, and contact pages behind the https, and make them only redirect to https.

Create 100% new content in existing page/URL?
We have about 30 pages of content that we are hiding from the website as these articles had some issues. If these pages ranked well, would you recommend that the new content is written within these pages? Meaning, we would replace the content that's in those pages with the same topic and keywords. Or do you think it's best to start a new page instead?

Need advice on the better URL structure to go with
I am rebuilding our existing website on a new platform and need advice on which URL structure would be the most ideal. The following examples are of a product that we have with a very long page title. Not all of our products have titles this long, but enough of them do to cause some concern. I was also wondering if I should end the url with file type .html or if leaving it out is better. Thanks in advance! OPTION 1. this example just uses the root domain and the entire product title separated by dashes http://ewheels.nextmp.net/staggered-full-set-br-2-20x9-ace-alloy-aff01-metallic-silver-machined-face-flow-formed-br-2-20x10-5-ace-alloy-aff01-metallic-silver-machined-face-flow-formed OPTION 2. this example uses the crawl path as well as the entire product title http://ewheels.nextmp.net/wheels/ace-alloy-wheels/ace-alloy-aff01-metallic-silver-machined-face-flow-formed/staggered-full-set-br-2-20x9-ace-alloy-aff01-metallic-silver-machined-face-flow-formed-br-2-20x10-5-ace-alloy-aff01-metallic-silver-machined-face-flow-formed OPTION 3. this example uses the crawl path and just the part number at the end since the folders already contain all the keywords necessary http://ewheels.nextmp.net/wheels/ace-alloy-wheels/ace-alloy-aff01-metallic-silver-machined-face-flow-formed/ace-2090aff01silace-20105aff01sil

URL structure for professional services across multiple industries
I am working with a company who does consulting work across multiple industries, but the services are essentially the same. Example Services: They implement "Customer Relationship Management" systems and "Data Archiving" Solutions. Example Industries: The services above can each apply to "Oil & Gas" or "Retail". Example URL Structures: mysite.com/oil-gas <-- This page would also contain links to all of the services provided to the Oil & Gas industry. mysite.com/oil-gas/customer-relationship-management-system mysite.com/retail mysite.com/retail/customer-relationship-management-system This seems like the best way to go, as long as i'm writing unique content, for each industry, for each service (i.e. I need to explain how a CRM solution solves specific problems in retail and OTHER specific problems in Oil & Gas). While there will certainly be some overlap, this approach seems logical to me. The URL length isn't too long either, which is nice. The company currently solely focuses on services in URL structure (not a very deep site): mysite.com/customer-relationship-management-system mysite.com/data-archiving Since they have already worked with hundreds of clients in multiple industries, it seems smarter to start focusing more on individual customer segments. Would anyone else do this differently? Thanks, Alex

URL / Meta info for Author bio pages
When you create a biography page for authors that point back to their G+ account, do you include any other signals in the URL other than the authors name? For example, would you use www.domain.com/sam-spade or www.domain.com/sam-spade-biography, etc? Similar question for the meta description. Do you add any signals there? Or, is rel=author strong enough. Best,

How do I PERMANENTLY change an incorrect URL link with one of my keywords?
Hello, I received an “F” grade on my on-page report for one of my keywords. I noticed that the URL linked with that keyword was wrong. After changing it to the correct URL, I received an “A.” However, the change was not permanent. How do I permanently change the URL? I don’t see any “Save Changes” or “Apply Changes” button anywhere. Thank you!

Keyword in URL?
I have a website that has been live for about 8yrs. I do not have any significant rankings for my main keywords but am now starting SEO on my site. I am contemplating changing the url to contain the main keyword prefixed by my brand name. Any views on the ranking benefits and or CTR benefits.

New website launch - Dupilicate content question
Hi, We are going to be launching a US version of our UK E-commerce web store. The US version will be a standalone site, separate URL/hosting etc. My question is that the US website will carry the same products as the UK site - will the product copy have to be written differently for the US website in order to avoid any SEO duplicate copy? Thanks
