Please give me advice on how to get this page back into search engines

Hi. Before we had our site www.in2town.co.uk upgraded, we had this section on the first page of google and even though it does not badly with other search engines, with google we are not in the top fifty.
the page is http://www.in2town.co.uk/gastric-band-hypnotherapy
i would be so grateful for advice on how to get this section back into google
i am also concerned that i have a category called gastric band hypnotherapy, what i mean is,
as you can see from above, we have the category name which is gastric band hypnotherapy and then the article name, just wondering if this is damaging us.
any help to sort our ranking issue our would be amazing

Hi - I think changing it back couldn't hurt to minimize the possible over-optimization signals.

hi, the title of the menu link was Hypno Gastric Band for some reason the developer changed it to gastric band hypnotherapy. do you feel this should be changed back or come up with a new menu link

Yup, take a look at this screenshot --> http://screencast.com/t/6j9zPt8ck1YL - that menu link did not exist on your old site (to my knowledge). This creates 100's of internal links on your new site with the anchor text "gastric band hypnotherapy" targeting a page /gastric-band-hypnotherapy - which also has exact match backlinks pointing to it.
Just my theory, but I believe possibly the addition of this sitewide internal link may have been enough to trigger some sort of overoptimization signal to Google.

the developer which i got rid of, was supposed to make sure that the staging was not indexed, i have put a do not follow in the robots file last week as i was not aware of the problem before that, not sure how to now get google to get rid of all the staging, i have been trying to find out in my site where he has redirected the staging but cannot find the place, this is causing me problems as many live articles under staging are going to the home page, so i really do not know what to do now.
can you explain more on the below

When you upgraded the site did the URL change or did it stay the same? I noticed you also have a lot of your staging site indexed (probably unintentionally) but I would suggest getting that noindexed.
I do see they all redirect to the homepage of your site, but this might not be the best thing to do, since there is not a great topic relevancy going from deep pages redirecting to the homepage. I would just add meta robots noindex tags to them and not redirect them.
I think I answered my question, as I see the archive.org version of the page from a few months ago - the URL is the same but just with capital letters. This is sending through a 301 redirect, but I doubt enough is lost with that.
Unfortunately your back links seem to have an unnatural amount of commercial anchor text, especially for the page in question. So I am willing to bet perhaps when you upgraded the site, it may have "stirred the pot" a little and Google looked a little closer at the site.

Will it upset Google if I aggregate product page reviews up into a product category page?
We have reviews on our product pages and we are considering averaging those reviews out and putting them on specific category pages in order for the average product ratings to be displayed in search results. Each averaged category review would be only for the products within it's category, and all reviews are from users of the site, no 3rd party reviews. For example, averaging the reviews from all of our boxes products pages, and listing that average review on the boxes category page. My question is, will this be doing anything wrong in the eyes of Google, and if so how so? -Derick

Duplicate Page Content
Hey Moz Community, Newbie here. On my second week of Moz and I love it but have a couple questions regarding crawl errors. I have two questions: 1. I have a few pages with duplicate content but it say 0 duplicate URL's. How do I know what is duplicated in this instance? 2. I'm not sure if anyone here is familiar with an IDX for a real estate website. But I have this setup on my site and it seems as though all the links it generates for different homes for sale show up as duplicate pages. Why isn't our site being shown on the first page of Google for a query using the exact domain, when its pages are indeed indexed by Google
When I type our domain.com as a query into Google, I only see one of our pages on the homepage, and it's in 4th position. It seems though, that all pages of the site are indexed by google when I type in the query "site:domain.com". There was an issue at the site launch, where the robots.txt file was left active for around two weeks. Would this have been responsible for the fact that another domain ranks #1 when we type in our own domain? It has been around a couple of months now since the site was launched. Thanks in advance.

To Reduce (pages)... or not to Reduce?
Our site has a large Business Directory with millions of pages. For examples' sake, let's say it's a directory of Restaurants. Each Restaurant has 4 pages on the site, each tied together through a row of tabs across the top of the page: Tab 1 - Basic super 7 info - name, location, contact info Tab 2 - Restaurant menu Tab 3 - Restaurant reviews Tab 4 - Photos of food The Tab 1 page generates 95% of our traffic, and 90% of conversions. The conversion rate on Tab 2 - Tab 4 pages is 6 - 10x greater than Tab 1 conversions. Total Conversions from search queries on menus, reviews and food are 20% higher than are conversions resulting from searches on restaurant name & info alone. We're working with a consultant on a redesign, who wants to consolidate the 4 pages into one. Their advice is to focus on making a better page, featuring all of the content, sacrifice a little organic traffic but make up any losses by improving conversion. My counterpoint is that we shouldn't scrap the Tab 2-4 pages just because they have lower traffic - we should make the pages BETTER. The content we display is thin, and we have plenty of data we could expose to make the pages more robust. By consolidating it will also be hard to optimize a page for people searching for name/location AND menu AND reviews AND photos. We're asking that one page to do too much, and it's likely we will see diminished search volume for queries on menu, reviews and food. I think the decline will be much more significant than the consultant estimates. The consultant says there will be little change to organic traffic. since Tab 1 already generates 95% of traffic. Through basic math, they're saying the risk is a 5% decline in organic traffic. Further, they see little chance of queries for menu, reviews, and food declining because most of those queries tend to send people too the home page or Tab 1 page anyway. Finally, the designer of the new wireframes admitted that potential organic traffic risks were not taken into consideration when they recommended consolidating the pages. Should I have more than one keyword for a page or should I make separate pages for each keyword even when they are similar? Will Google penalize me for making similar pages? Imagine selling, bargain milk chocolate peanut clusters. Woah, my A-grade optimized pages that were on the first page have all vanished outside the top 50 in Google... is this Panda?
Yep as mentioned, I had some pages hit the top ten pretty quickly after ensuring they were A-grade for pretty uncompetitive keywords however, today, all bar 2 have just vanished from the top 50! All were ranking in Google.co.uk and I know we were predicting the Panda update to hit soon but WOW! My client is understandably a little upset, what on earch do I tell him and what should I do about it? Cheers! jT
