Hi Pania,
Any chance you could share the URL and the keyword combination you're using? If you're not comfortable sharing publicly, feel free to write the help team (help @ moz.com) and they should be able to get things sorted out for you.

Hi Pania, has this issue been sorted out?

Hi Pania,
Sorry to hear about the confusion with the On Page report card. In order to help, there's a couple things we can do;
- If you're comfortable sharing, you could post the keyword/URL combination and the community here may be able to diagnose the problem
- Otherwise, this may be a good problem for the help team (help@moz.com) as they will keep all your information private.
Regardless, we'd love to help you get to the bottom of this. Cheers.

I wonder if you might be thinking that placing keywords in the keyword meta tag is what you are supposed to be doing. Be sure that the keywords you are optimizing for are in the body of the page, not just in the meta description tag.
Also as a matter of semantics:
- Google indexes a page regardless of what the page was optimized for (provided, as you mention, it's not prevented from doing so). You can check if your page is indexed by typing this search: site:[your domain.com] or site:[your domain.com/specific_page]
- Google provides results for pages that are optimized for specific keywords and that it determines are the most appropriate for the search query.
If you haven't done so yet check out The SEO Guide From Moz for more helpful info

Ok, so I think this question is kind of confusing...
On-Page report card only checks for exact match keyword within the page... for instance if the keyword is “whiteboard markers”, it will only search for the exact keywords instead of keywords attached with it... this means if you have used the word “whiteboardmarkers (without space)” or “whiteboard with markers” it will not e considered as the keywords that you are trying to check within the content.
If the keywords available within the content are not exact match they will not be counted as keywords in this report card!
If you are using the exact match keyword and Google or Mozbot cannot read your content at all then maybe you are using iframe to display the content on the page or some similar factor.
Hope this helps!

Can you separate keywords in body text?
Keyword example "Best Chocolate Donuts" Could your keywords be written as "If you are always looking for the best quality ingredients, and you are a chocolate lover, you will love our donuts" Does that satisfy the keyword requirement or does it have to be exactly " We have the best chocolate donuts Chicago has to offer"

Thoughts on the Keywords sending visits.
So, many of you know my current bizarre situation. We are getting some assistance. If you are curious my posts are on here and you have all been extremely helpful. To my question: So in my Moz campaign I am tracking a handful of keywords and such, and then there are all the keywords that are sending results currently. Some of these I feel are pretty reasonable to transfer over to my keyword list. Some are pretty obvious that we should not use. Then there are some that seem to be luke warm. Are then worth tracking just because they are sending traffic? I guess the better question would be to look at if they are actually converting. Are people who are looking for Ice Cream upset when then end up at a place that doesn't sell Ice Cream.

Rankings Different in Serps from Report
My site shows up on page one for many search queries, but I'm "not in the top 50" for those same terms according to the rankings report. Having troubleshooted the problem, it may be a canonical issue. I did not include www when I originally set up my reports and it seems that my site shows up in search results with www. However; if you type in the url without the www, it will automatically forward to the page with www. I did this intentionally in order not to get penalized for duplicate content pages. So here's my question: If I've got one page redirected to the other, shouldn't the rankings report also follow that redirect? If so, then it should show the correct results, right? Thanks, Dino

SEOmoz Keyword Ranking - Does it work for local search?
I was just wondering how SEOmoz calculates keyword rankings up and down every week. Shouldn't there be a way to have SEOmoz calculate rankings on a Local and Non-Local Basis? For example I have "Local Dentist" as a keyword in SEOmo for my dental client. SEOmoz shows that we are not in the Top 50. | Local dentist Keyword History Ranking Analysis | Not in Top 50 | Moved unknown 0 spaces | Not in Top 50 | Moved unknown 0 spaces | Not in Top 5 | If I change my location in Google browser to the zip of where the office is located, we

I am looking to create keyword reports filtered by labels
We have roughly 800 keywords and I have created labels for the different groups of keywords. What I would like to do is have weekly or monthly reports sent to me based on the labels associated with the individual keywords. Any ideas on how I can do this? Thanks David

Keyword Canibalization!
I have a page and it's ranking for a keyword. I placed an internal text link with that keyword as an anchor from that page to that page. The pages is linking to itself. Why on-page report card sees that anchor text link as a cannibalization link? Another problem that i cannot resolve about keyword cannibalization is that the same tool sees cannibalizing link for different kw. Ex : I have a page/category about shoes. From that page i link with anchor text links (the name of the anchor is the name of subcategory ) to subcategories which are men shoes, women shoes, kids shoes, etc. Now, why those links are seen as a cannibalization links for the keyword shoes?
