Product page reviews issues
-
Hi,
We've implemented pagination on the reviews with rel=next/prev, but have seen no improvements since this. An example page with reviews is here. Can you see any issues on this that would be causing the problem? Thanks!

Hello Pikka,
The paginated pages each have a self-referencing rel canonical tag and content that is duplicate to the main page. I think this could be your problem.
Example:
http://www.bookatable.com/uk/101917/oxo-tower
Rel canonical = http://www.bookatable.com/uk/101917/oxo-towerhttp://www.bookatable.com/uk/101917/oxo-tower?reviewPage=4 (same content as above)
Rel canonical = http://www.bookatable.com/uk/101917/oxo-tower?reviewPage=4We could make this as complicated as can be, but I'd be willing to bet money that if you simply made the rel canonical tag for the paginated pages the same as the canonical page (e.g. http://www.bookatable.com/uk/101917/oxo-tower) you would see some lift in rankings and traffic.
Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Wrong page ranking on SERP, above more relevant page
Often I will see the wrong page, something less relevant to a particular search, appear higher on the SERP than a more relevant page. Why does this happen and how can it be remedied? I found this Moz article, has anything been written on this topic more recently. Thanks! https://moz.com/blog/wrong-page-ranking-in-the-results-6-common-causes-5-solutions

New Page Not ranking?
One of this client's top keyword is "oak beams". They already rank well in the UK for other related terms like "reclaimed oak beams" at /reclaimed-oak-beams/ and "air dried oak beams" at /air-dried-oak-beams/ We have created a page at /oak-beams/ but this page ranks nowhere? Instead the reclaimed oak beams or air dried oak beams page ranks for the term "oak beams". Any ideas why Google is swapping between those pages and not choosing the /oak-beams/ page? A few notes are that the /oak-beams/ page is newest page on the site and yes I know there are no links pointing to it but there are no links pointing to the other pages either?

Moving from Bigcommerce to Woocommerce on WP. Should we redirect size pages into one page?
We are moving from Bigcommerce to Woocommerce on WP. On Bigcommerce, due to some bizarre reasoning the previous developer had 3 separate URLS for the same product in different sizes - S, M and L. Now we plan to have one product page where the sizes can be selected and 301 redirect the 3 urls to the new one. Is this advisable? Or should we just have 3 separate pages. OR should we have one of the sizes pages as the new page and then redirect the other 2 to this one? I ask this because the site has a LOT of ranking power and we do not want to jeopardise that.

How do i fix my duplicte page issues on Prestashop platform?
I have tried many things such as rel-canonical, duplicate url redirect modules, but still im looking at over 70 duplicate page titles. Most of this is because the same title is used across all the pages and im not sure if this is possible to change. (ex: http://apostolicclothing.com/15-modest-womens-dresses, http://apostolicclothing.com/15-modest-womens-dresses?p=2)

A "show all" category for products resulting in to many on-page links
I've got reports from my seomoz pro campaign that I have more than 100 on-page links on a page of my ecommerce store. This page is a "show all" category displaying ALL products from ALL my categories on the site. So it is NOT a "show all" for displaying all products in a certain category on one page instead of having to click through page 1, page 2 etc. What I don't clearly understand is why I get this from the reports, as it does not display all products in one single page. What it does is gathering all products from all categories in one place, but instead of showing all products in one page it is divided into pages 1 - 13. What should I do to resolve this? Could it be the seomoz campaign giving me an incorrect result? Appreciate you taking the time to help! Thank you.

Duplicate Product BUT Unique Content -- any issues?
We have the situation where a group of products fit into 2 different categories and also serve different purposes (to the customer). Essentially, we want to have the same product duplicated on the site, but with unique content and it would even have a slightly different product name. Some specifications would be redundant, but the core content would be different. Any issues?
