How can I have mistaken identity Facebook work history removed from uncooperative person's profile?
-
My client, a cosmetic surgeon in Lynnwood, WA was attacked earlier today on Facebook by the supposed ex-wife of a cosmetic surgeon in Arizona with whom they have no association. The other practice has a name that is close, but there is absolutely no relationship between the two. We promptly removed the comments from my client's wall and images and blocked the person who posted them.
Unfortunately she has posted in her work history on her own page that she works for my client's practice and blocking her has not removed my client's name, logo or fb link from her page. This poster's comments are so tragic and bizarre I'm honestly not sure she is a real person, though the doctor she mentions in her posts does appear to have a real practice in AZ. I could not find a way to report to Facebook that she did not in fact work for my client at any time. I have so far had no response from her to my request to remove it from her About page and due to the bizarre nature of the comments, I don't well trust she'll follow through.
How can I have this erroneous work history removed from this person's profile page? Facebook FAQ offered no answers. Thank you.

Sharla - That is indeed problematic. I think that you have a couple of options:
1. Through an attorney, send a certified letter asking for the removal of the information from the job history. Have this followed up with a defamation claim for doing harm to a business for fraudulently claiming employment.
2. You can Report a Violation of the Facebook Terms of Service, even if you don't have an account by using the form here: https://www.facebook.com/help/contact/274459462613911
3. You can go the person's profile page, and click on the gear icon next to Message, and click on Report. You can use this feature even if you're not friends with the person on Facebook. This might fall into the bullying realm, too.
Hope this helps

How to find out what is the best time to post to your audience on Facebook
We have been using Facebook for some time for our business and are looking to schedule our posts. We want to schedule posts when they would have maximal reach to our audience. How do we find this out? Can it be identified using Facebook Insights? Instructions or guidance here as to how to do this would be most appreciated!

Having trouble removing certain photos from our Google plus?
I have a client that has images appearing on their on their Google+ profile that they don't want. They are not user uploaded images....but images being uploaded via Google maps and other sources. There is no readily available "delete" option for these particular photos. Google provided this article about dealing with these photos https://support.google.com/business/answer/6130451?hl=en&ref_topic=6130059. It turns out we have to "flag" this photos to get them removed. We can just take them off the Google+ profile. Does anybody know a work around for this? We don't want to wait weeks or months for Google to manually remove these photos.

Facebook Reach on Post Just Spiked!
Yesterday I put a post with a photo on our company Facebook page Normally our reach on a post is 500-600 out of a list of 77,000 followers. However, since posting this one yesterday afternoon, our reach has hit almost 9,000! The only thing different with this post vs. any others we've done is that I put a text link for the company name back to the same Facebook page that the post was put on. I didn't intend to do this, it's just that when I started typing in our company name, Facebook suggested making it a link, so I thought, why not? I'm thinking somehow that made it appear in more people's timelines than usual. We posted it the same time in the day as every other post, and this was the only thing unique about it. Any thoughts?

Our company has over 100+ stores. Does it make sense to have a main Facebook page and individual pages for each location? How does each affect SERPs? Thanks!

Facebook Likes not counted
So many of my clients are (very) small businesses and have added a like button to their website home pages that actually has the person liking their Facebook page rather than the website. Without debating the pros and cons of this approach, it would seem that Facebook has changed it so that if someone clicks a like button that is for a page they have not actually visited the like does not show up in the like count for that page? Is that correct?

How to migrate "friends" to likes on a new facebook corporate account
Hi, My client, which is a university department, used a regular facebook page to manage some 800 friend on a personal Facebook page. How would you go about convincing the friends to switch to "likees" on a new corporate account? Is holding a giveaway my best bet? Any other ideas? Thanks!
