Google index text that I can not find
-
Hello everybody,
As you can see here: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:G-iicHoDJeYJ:www.billigste-internet.dk/&hl=da&gl=dk&strip=1 Google index the text "Forside" as the H1 tag, and "Right" and "Left" as body text, on my website.
But I do not want that Google indexes this. But when I look in mine source code (see here: view-source:http://www.billigste-internet.dk/) I can not find "Forside", "rigth" or "Left", so I can delete it.
Is there anyone who can help me where I need to delete the text "Forside", "Right" and "Left", so Google does not index this text?
Hope someone can help.

Brother, I am sorry but I don't see anything that says 'Right' or 'Left' in the current Google cache. Please copy the following and paste it in Google to find out:
cache:www.billigste-internet.dk
Let me know if you were able to see 'Right' or 'Left'
Best,
Devanur Rafi

Okay, great!
Thank you for your help.
But what about "Right" and "Left"? I can not find it here: view-source:http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:G-iicHoDJeYJ:www.billigste-internet.dk/&hl=da&gl=dk&strip=0

Absolutely..we can also use the Fetch as Google feature to expedite the crawl..

Hi friend, the Google cache date is from 28th October and at that time, you had this in the source code:
# Forside
So now that you have changed the source code, you need to wait for Google's next crawl update for the page and you won't see those things in the cache.
Hope it helps.
Best,
Devanur Rafi

Ad server not indexed
Hello guys, My client is using an ad server (not sure if i am allowed to tell which one so I will not for now) installed at ads.clientsite.com. It is using noindex, nofollow for preventing Google to index it but also it is blocking like 90 000 other pages on clientsite.com to be indexed/crawled. The guy that applied the noindex tag it is no longer here so I cannot ask him about the logic behind those noindex tags. How big could be the damage to clientsite.com if I will remove the noindex tag from the ad server (ads.clientsite.com? If needed I can PM you the ad server platform we are using, Regards, Ed

Home Page Text Placement - In Widget?
My client has a blank homepage that showcases his work in a slideshow. As a result, his homepage will not rank. I've created landing pages and they have started to rank, but he is not a fan of them. He wants to add a widget below the menu, essentially where you have to scroll down to see it (no one will ever see it) with the text/onsite optimization we need to get him to rank. This will leave him with his blank homepage that he likes. My gut reaction is that the text needs to be in the actual page, not a sidebar widget. What do you think? Will this method work?

Google is indexing urls with parameters despite canonical
Hello Moz, Google is indexing lots of urls despite the canonical in my site. Those urls are linked all over the site with parameters like ?, and looks like Google is indexing them despite de canonical. Is Google deciding to index those urls because they are linked all over the site? The canonical tag is well implemented.

Why will google not index my Images
Hi I've added to index images in our sitemap although they are showing as being submitted Google hasn't indexed a single one. This has been the case for about 3 months. Is there any reason why Google would not index them? Thanks

What are the best practices for google indexing ajax response urls?
We just did a build to our site and our server erros went up to over 9,500. After looking into it, it seems like google is crawling the ajax urls and coming back with the errors. Here is one example http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/productDetail.do?navType=type&vehicleId=1423&webTypeId=68&navTitle=Drive&webCatId=9&prodFamilyId=29660 If you know of any good articles on this please send them my way.

Prevent indexing of dynamic content
Hi folks! I discovered bit of an issue with a client's site. Primarily, the site consists of static html pages, however, within one page (a car photo gallery), a line of php coding: dynamically generates a 100 or so pages comprising the photo gallery - all with the same page title and meta description. The photo gallery script resides in the /gallery folder, which I attempted to block via robots.txt - to no avail. My next step will be to include a: within the head section of the html page, but I am wondering if this will stop the bots dead in their tracks or will they still be able to pick-up on the pages generated by the call to the php script residing a bit further down on the page? Anchor text filters
I am using text replace on a blog to automatically link keywords in posts and pages back to the homepage. Sometimes the same KEYWORD links back 2/3 times in one post, can this harm rankings or cause an anchor text filter? thanks,
