Make sure you disavow the right links. if it's done wrong your website will never recover.
other good things your can do is get fresh links, new links from other sources. depending on how much time you've got you could recover.
-
Thank you Chris , A good help for me. i will check it manually and will try to remove all those bad links
-
Well rather a few of your back links are really bad and this makes your profile look a bit on the bad side to start with, you can try to use the disavow tool to remove some of the bad links. I also recommend you build some better links to try to help counter.
I also recommend finding your self in the SERP and you can then monitor results from the above.
I'm sure some of the other helpful folks here at Moz will have some dandy advice.
You can use services like Majestic SEO or Open site explored to look at your links to see their quality.
Good luck

Should we need to remove those links from directories. because it too hard to find and remove.?
-
okay , so please help me with this , how can i improve my website
-
You have a lot of directory links and one site has 10,772 links pointed towards you which isn't so great. I suspect you've been hit by penguin.
-
Hi Chris Painter,
I check there in webmaster but i did't get any message or alert from google.
It is showing only update message like
Update: an improvement to our top search queries data was applied retroactively on 12/31/13
-
First question any one will ask you is have you had a Penalty or warning in your Google webmaster tools ?
Have you dropped down or dropped off - Have you been hit by panda or penguin ? Heard they may have been a refresh very recently

Redirecting pages from a website to another
Hello Moz community, I’ve got a question and hope you can help! I’ve been working to improve my website’s ranking for the keywords “singing lessons London”. My current website url is http://www.sonic-crew-london.com and the page dedicated to the singing lessons is http://www.sonic-crew-london.com/booking/singinglessons.php I’ve recently bought the url http://www.singing-lessons-london.com which I hope will help to climb Google’s ranks a bit more easily for my chosen keywords. I thought I could redirect the old singing page to the new url. Is that something you would recommend me to do? Is there any specific procedure I should follow to make sure the transition runs smoothly? Any help really appreciated! Many thanks

Should I Parent/Child my Website Pages (need help with terminology too)
Hello I have a website that I am trying to SEO optimise.
Technical SEO | | NikitaG
The current structure of the site is that all pages are linked directly after the domain:
example: www.domain.com**/page01** www.domain.com**/page02** The website is however logically organised in the following form:
www.domain.com**/page01/page02** Sometimes the parenting goes to 3 levels: (please help me with the right term here) Domain
↳ Page001
↳ Page002
↳Page003 My question is: should keep the current structure, or is it worth the effort to re-link the website in a parented way. Are there any benefites to one or the other, and could you point to some video tutorials or documentation to read. BqoDAsx.jpg DMMIC5o.jpg0 -

Google inconsistent in display of meta content vs page content?
Our e-comm site includes more than 250 brand pages - lrg image, some fluffy text, maybe a video, links to categories for that brand, etc. In many cases, Google publishes our page title and description in their search results. However, in some cases, Google instead publishes our H1 and the aforementioned fluffy page content. We want our page content to read well, be descriptive of the brand and appropriate for the audience. We want our meta titles and descriptions brief and likely to attract CTR from qualified shoppers. I'm finding this difficult to manage when Google pulls from two different areas inconsistently. So my question... Is there a way to ensure Google only utilizes our title/desc for our listings?

New Domain Page 7 Google but Page 1 Bing & Yahoo
Hi just wondered what other people's experience is with a new domain. Basically have a client with a domain registered end of May this year, so less than 3 months old! The site ranks for his keyword choice (not very competitive), which is in the domain name. For me I'm not at all surprised with Google's low ranking after such a short period but quite surprsied to see it ranking page 1 on Bing and Yahoo. No seo work has been done yet and there are no inbound links. Anyone else have experience of this? Should I be surprised or is that normal in the other two search engines? Thanks in advance Trevor
