Advices On Yoast SEO!
-
Hello Guys,
I have a short issue, that i still can't figure it out from my previous Q&A. Why is google doing this ( ranking for a tag and not for title tag ) - do I have some misplaced setting in yoast seo?
Please find the attachment.
Also there is any way that someone could help me edit something in yoast?
Thanks.

Hello,
I have used your method, but i see something strange still on my google results:
Still tag page indexed and no google picture. Is this going to update at the next index or '???
-
Hi Matei,
I believe both ways work as both tell Google that the tags should not be crawled/index. I personally would go with making tags noindex/follow since it is a simple check box in Yoast where as canonical tags need to be placed in all your tag setting.

Hello Tommy. I have sett up your indication. Tags - Meta Robots - noindex, follow. Is this a better alternative then going for www.mysite.com"/> ?
-
Hi Matei,
I'm not sure if this will answer your question but if you go to Titles & Metas >>>Taxonomies tab, you can set tags as no index/no follow. This should stop Google from crawling your tag over meta title. You might also want to check if you might've mistakenly check the box for meta title or if it's force rewrite by Yoast.
Hope this helps.

Does social media presence + inbound links outweigh bad SEO?
Some of our competitors have SEO errors in the thousands, yet rank much higher than us for keywords that we're targeting. The SEO errors are duplicate content, titles, and 404 errors. We've successfully nailed down much of our SEO issues to a bare minimum, although not eliminated them completely, so we're at a loss as to why we aren't gaining much ground. From what we can tell, the difference between us and them is they have a large amount of inbound links to their site plus popular social media presence. Can it be inferred from this that an active social media presence and large inbound link count outweigh bad SEO practices? What else should we be looking for to help pinpoint why we're not gaining rank with the keywords we're targeting?

Basic SEO question
Hi! One of my clients, a Chiropractic clinic, has a lot of unique content in norwegian. Problem is; we still have problems building backlinks here in norway. Is one possibility to translate this content to another language and try to get backlinks this way? Would a backlink from another country have the same value as a "local" one? If translating the content is an option how would I go about spreading this content? Is outsourcing an option? Cheers!

What is the best white hat seo link building strategy?
My goal is to build links that comply with Google's Quality Guidelines. I am wondering what is the best way to approach webmasters or bloggers about submitting guest posts or writing content. I have done a competitive analysis, and have a list of potential link sources, but I am not sure what approach to take next. Any advice or strategy would be appreciated.

SEO Fightback
I just got a spam email company (SEO FIghtback) that claims they can create backlinks through trusted Wordpress networks that cannot ever be rejected by google. I believe it to be just another linking company wanting to suck $97 bucks a month out of me, I thought I would ask the experts on this site. The video was cool....for about 30 second......but that is all I could handle. It ultimately became one of the most irritating commericals ever and truly grated on my last nerve. Thanks

SEO Submission Service or Ads on Blogs?
1. Can anyone recommend a good SEO Submission Service? Or do you not recommend using them? 2. What do you think is a better way to build links? Directory listings or place ads on blog sites? Each post a blogger post would have the ad link. Thoughts?

PPC Landing pages and SEO landing pages query
We do a fair amount of work on PPC and because of this a lot of our PPC landing pages also do quite well in SEO. We are thinking that the landing pages do well because they get a lot of traffic from PPC and therefore, maybe google can index and take note of these pages quicker? The pages that usually shoot right up the rankings are new pages used for long tailed keywords. So I have a few questions: Does the traffic from PPC actually have any effect on SEO rankings? If we were to create a page that was to act solely as an SEO landing page, would google take note if there was no traffic? Would simply linking from our main site to the landing page be enough to give it a bit of authority, in which we can build upon? Thanks in advance.

Trying to avoid splitting Search Engine juice, need advice
We currently have a political issue with one microsite we're trying to promote. The group that created the website, created it without the consent of the rest of the company and now, although it's allowed to live, we've been given a few restrictions. They main restriction is that when the microsite is linked from the main corporate website it needs to be referenced as a subdomain so http://microsite.company.com. We've been promoting the site as http://www.microsite.com (I'd include the actual websites but don't want to air their dirty laundry). The problem is that a lot of the listings in google are starting to show up using the http://microsite.company.com url instead of the actual url we're about to start promoting and I'm sure that's going to split rankings. Is there a way to appease both sides here. Keep the subdomain from the main site but transfer the juice from that main link to the microsite url? To be clear, I can't just use a 301 redirect because that will change the url from the subdomain to the microsite url (unless i'm wrong) and corporate doesn't want that. Does any of this make sense? Any help would be greatly appreciated
