Did Andrew ever provide a link to an example "Keyword Targeting Report" spread?
Thanks!
-
Awesome - thank you so much!!
-
Andy got back to me, and you can find the examples here. Enjoy!
-
Yes, I'm the impatient one - I saw the Twitter reach out in the meantime as well. Sorry about going multichannel, but I had forgotten how incredibly responsive you Mozzers are!
Thanks to both of you for working on this.
-
Hi Rich,
Not that I know of. Were you the person who tweeted at us this am about it? I've reached out to Andy. Thanks!
-
Got it. Will ping a staffer for you. Thanks for clarifying.
-
Thanks for responding. Yes, in response to the first question in the Q&A portion of the presentation he mentioned that he would provide a working example of the report, and I believe tweet it to @Moz. I have not found it - just wondered if I missed it.
-
Do you mean in addition to the screen cap of the keyword targeting report in his PPT (slide 72)?

How can a slight brochureware website with little content or keywords be getting DA 96, PA 59 and linking domains of 50.5million?
How can a Facebook page get domain authority of 96, page authority of 59 and have 50million linking domains? I come across websites that feature crappy video clips in serp features in google searches, the website.

It's surely black hat tactics. How do they get away with this? The website has zero content beyond light brochureware.

Tools for Documenting and Monitoring Link Structure
The sites I work with all have increasingly published more and more content. In order to maximize the potential and "link juice" of every post and the site, we are linking the post to other relevant internal posts. What I want to ask though is if the community here has any tips or recommendations as a way to monitor and track this. The reason being that I don't want to just go in guns blazing and link all over the place. I want to keep and maintain link structure, even on a content level. For now, I've been using pencil and paper and assigning numbers to keep structure. However, with so many posts and so many links within each post, I'm starting to notice that maybe this is a little impractical. Are there any recommendations?

Challenge: How to SEO a site with almost no content
Wondering what you all would recommend for SEO on this site: www.gudville.com Most of their content is behind a login. Basically there are 5 pages open to Google and to anyone without that login, and they are not open to doing it differently at this time. Once in, there will be a lot of sharing with Facebook friends that will include invitations to join them in their causes. Love to hear all your recommendations. Kathy

Forgot the name of a cool SEO Tool... Help!
I recently discovered a cool SEO tool. I didn't write it down, save it, bookmark, etc... And now I can't remember the name of the tool for the life of me, but I'd really like to use it again. I was hoping I could list of the features that I remember, and one of you Mozzers know what I'm talking about. It was a backlink analysis tool. It had a free version, and after you performed so many searches/searched so many backlinks, you had to pay. From what I remember it was a fairly nominal fee with the most popular package in around $25. The reason that I liked it so much was you could take an OSE csv file, dump it in there, and it would sort all of the links by link type, i.e, footer, comment, directory, etc... Then it would put it all into a nice pie chart for you and show you the % of the total links that each link type made up. It would also analyze the anchor text and would show you every anchor text used, and the % of the total each one made up.

How can I check a website to see if it is "nofollow"?
I'm a little new to SEO, so maybe this is obvious to some . . . I'm attempting to build backlinks by submitting articles, posting on forums etc. I just wrote my forst article for ezine and submitted it. I was feeling pretty good about myself until I mentioned it to someone trying to sell me their SEO services and he said that ezine articles are considered "nofollow" on all their links. Well, that was pretty frustrating to hear! It got me wondering, how many of these other sites have all their posts and blogs listed as "nofollow"? Is there a way for me to figure it out ahead of time? Obviously, there are only so many hours in the day and I would rather focus on posting on sites that will actually help me build backlinks! Thanks for your help in advance!

Article Marketing
Hey Guys, I am currently doing article marketing for one of my terms on my dads site (I will not publicly post the url). We have been working to rank for this term for several years and are on the second page near the top, we want to be in the top 5 for the term and we are willing to spend any ammount of money it takes to learn this thing! We were introduced to article marketing not to long ago so we have hired content writers to write articles on our niche and then we are manually (I MYSELF) am going into article sites and listing the articles with a link back to our site with the anchored keyword txt (1 link per article). We have been doing 10 articles per keyword (there is several keywords we want to rank for) so we are spreading it out slowly building these article links. Is this the correct process or are we missing something? These are real UNIQUE articles only being put on 1 article site never being posted anywhere else.
