Can we rank website without main keywords on its homepage?

For example my company website on Google Search Engine...
Web Design Company & Digital Agency in Jakarta
coriate.com/
Coriate is a website design & Internet marketing firm in Indonesia. We offer the best web solutions, digital advertising, and SEO Services in the industry. Can I do backlink to it, but different keywords? Like Social Media Management or Facebook Like?
-
You should rank your home page for your company term. If you want to rank for things like "Social Media Management or Facebook Like", then you should create a page called coriate.com/social-media and coriate.com/facebook-like and create an in-depth article about those topics. Create a guide teaching the reader how to be success at those tasks and then advise them your company does those things. Be careful with keyword anchor text backlinking. Focus on creating high quality content, targeting one primary keyword per page, sharing socially and using your network to help promote the content.

Can we rank website without main keywords on its homepage?
I'm not 100% clear on what you're asking, but I'm going to take a guess at it. If you're asking does your homepage need to target specific keywords for other pages on your site to rank, the answer is no. I asked a similar question about this a while back, and most people on here told me, that you're home page should be about your brand. As you build out the rest of your site, you can use landing pages to target specific keywords and obtain links for those pages.
Can I do backlink to it, but different keywords? Like Social Media Management or Facebook Like?
Yes, you can. It's good to have a variety of anchor text to your pages. Exact match anchor text looks spammy these days. If you are in control of what that backlink is going to say, however, I would have it be your brand if at all possible. Also, while you want a variety of anchor text, it still needs to be relevant to your site and the page. I don't know enough to say one way or the other if "Social Media Management and Facebook Like" work. It's a judgment call, but if I had to make a choice, I'd say yes. Though, I really couldn't say for certain about the specific example you gave one way or the other.
Best,
Ruben

What to do if ranking the wrong KW?
I wrote a blog article targeting a long-tail KW - "[primary KW] pricing revealed". the article is performing so well that is actually ranking 2nd nationally for my primary KW. I would rather have my conversion page rank for my primary KW obviously. I'm considering cutting and pasting the content from my blog page onto my conversion page with a 301 redirect from the blog to the conversion page. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks, Ryan

Table text : Does that influences the website's ranking ?
We are currently working on a new page for one of our clients and there is A LOT of writing, so A LOT of differents pages. If I decide to put the texts on table text instead of creating a link for another page, will that influence the ranking in any way ? I've been a web writer for only a year now and still try to figure out how to optimize the written part. Thank you for your answers.

Noticed this page http://www.vintageheirloom.com/vintage-chanel/vintage-chanel-bags flagged with 'Avoid Keyword Stuffing in Document'. Any general pointers for me on www.vintageheirloom.com would also be much appreciated. Thanks SEOmozzers...

How to fix keyword self-cannibalization?
page in question: www.bison-builders.com/lots-plans/bison-meadows-lots-1-6/ This page is the landing page for 6 custom home lots, available via Bison Builders. I fixed the overstuffing of 'Bison Meadows', it was on all image title, alt, etc. Should be right around 15. We are using 'Bison Meadows' as a keyword, because that's the name of the custom community. I don't want to change the names of the links, and I don't want to change the name of the keyword. How do I fix this self-cannibalization? FYI, I was thinking of directing all canonical URLs for individual pages to this page, but will wait til I know how to fix this first... Thank you! Avoid Keyword Self-Cannibalization Easy fix <dl> <dt>Cannibalizing link</dt> <dd>"Bison Meadows Lot 1", "Bison Meadows Lot 2", "Bison Meadows Lot 3", "Bison Meadows Lot 4", "Bison Meadows Lot 5", and "Bison Meadows Lot 6"</dd> <dt>Explanation</dt> <dd>It's a best practice in SEO to target each keyword with a single page on your site (sometimes two if you've already achieved high rankings and are seeking a second, indented listing). To prevent engines from potentially seeing a signal that this page is not the intended ranking target and creating additional competition for your page, we suggest staying away from linking internally to another page with the target keyword(s) as the exact anchor text. Continuous variation of a keyword
Lords, on a site i have optimization job, a specific keyword, for over 5 months, ranging from 7 to +100 position. One day the keyword is there, beautiful on the first page, and another day disappear. I do not understand why this happens, someone has something happened? I can not stabilize it, and is one of the most important for this client. I live in tension, in the morning the first thing I do is search to see whether the keyword is. Obviously it did in the first 2 months, then relaxed as she always comes back : ) Anyone have any idea what might be happening?

Ranking on page 5 for a 1% difficulty keyword
Hello mozers, I am going crazy over this. I have designed a new site www.smh.cz. The company name / kw is unique (Smolikova Mikulas Hendrich), but it appears on page 5 on Google.
On-Page Optimization | | ilincev
Yahoo and Bing is fine (in top 3 positions). All the on-page factors are ok too.
All the smh.cz pages are indexed on Google. We have done a 301 redirect of two other domains (sm-legal.cz and smm-partners.cz) which were websites for the firms prior to forming a new one. I am scratching my head over what does Google dislike so much. Any thoughts? Can the smh.cz domain - which previously had some dodgy insurance content - be the reason? Your help is much appreciated.
