Yahoo and Bing
-
Hi All, my Bing and Yahoo search results pretty much all say not in 50, but for Google many are in the top 10. In the past I have seen the reverse...high search on Yahoo/Bing - low on Google.
Any thoughts on why this is happening?
Thank you!

Hi Guys, I don't think its any of those updates...it just strange that my keywords rank well on Google, but not Yahoo and Bing.
Could it be a sitemap issue, I am working with my developers to get that fixed and there is no priority and dates on the map.
Thank you

Pretty much what Ian said, but we would need a site name to say anything with any sort of certainty. You can PM me via my Moz profile and let me know which domain I should look at. I think I already have an idea though. Does the company name rhyme with 'thrill'?
Edit: Don't worry about losing a client or your career. My client base has grown considerably in the last two months. And I generally dislike people that scalp good campaigns, as well as campaigns that aren't going so well - but the person/agency is working on a fix. I consider it professional courtesy.

When did you see the change? There were rumors of a Bing algorithm change on May 5th of this year:
http://www.seroundtable.com/bing-search-update-18525.html
On May 19th, Google rolled out the 'Payday loan' Panda update.
Also, what's changed on your site, if anything?

Bing SEM Traffic showing up as Organic in Moz?
Hi there, Everyone! First time poster. 🙂 One of my clients has an ads string showing up in organic search? It is: s=bing_search&p=none . If I block it in the robots text, then I won't see any traffic results.

Bing Search volume 0 is this good or bad?
So this might be a stupid question, but that whole no such thing as a stupid questions applies here. I am trying to narrow down keywords for title tags and on page optimization. I am focusing on my local, instate SEO only. So no nationwide searches, just local. When I add in my state, so Colorado then keyword It shows 0 matches. When I add Keyword then Colorado a few matches But there is a difficulty rating of 30% or so. Would this mean that it would be good to go after this? or bad because no one searches for my term? Then when I add my keyword, and no state, 6000 matches. But would this mean everyone and there brother is going after it? So unless you are a big brand, stay away? Thank you for your help. I am just trying to make sure I am using it right. Chris

Anyone using Yahoo Small Business? Not sure if SEOmoz works with YahooSB
I am not sure if SEOmoz is compatible with Yahoo Small Business. The crawl states that the title page is too long for over a hundred titles, but they are not. SEOmoz is taking the title page and the parent or catagory page and grouping together. Please only respond if you work SEO for Yahoo Small Business accounts. Would be glad to take discussion thread off line or show the SEOmoz report.

Why does Open Site Explorer show less inbound links than yahoo site Explorer?
Hello, We have a question regarding inbound link measurement. We used to measure our inbound links with yahoo site explorer. Now that it's been shut down we use opensiteexplorer.org. However, Open Site Explorer only shows a fraction of inbound links compared to yahoo site explorer. For our website www.theprintspace.co.uk yahoo site explorer measured approx. 14,000 inbound links, whereas open Site Explorer only counts approx. 3,000. This is more than 10,000 links less. For our other website www.theprintspace.de Open Site Explorer also shows 3000 links less than Yahoo. How can this be? Does Open Site Explorer count the links in a different way to Yahoo? Please explain. It would be great if you could help us with this. Thank you!

Yahoo Site Explorer died. Does DA and PA Seomoz parameters have all it takes to replace YSE?
We're trying to simplify our link analysis job when acquiring a new external link. We're wondering to know if Domain Authority Seomoz parameter is all what we need to take a decision. Does DA Seomoz parameter takes into consideration 'domain age', 'alexa ranking', 'dmoz links', indexed pages on google', and 'inbound links vs outbound links'?

Do you pay much attention to Bing and Yahoo?
I'm enjoying seeing my reports filter in for my campaigns. One of the things that I am noticing is that there are many keywords that I have top ten rankings for Google.com, but 3rd or 4th page on Bing and Yahoo. I know most traffic comes from Google, but I'm wondering if I should put some effort into optimizing for Bing and Yahoo. Any tips on how to make my site more attractive to these search engines?
