Backlink profile not current
-
How often are the backlink profiles updated? I'm researching competitor backlinks to add to our own link profile but it doesn't seem like not all the links are current. So how am I supposed to know which links are current and which have been erased?
Can anyone please guide me though using the advanced filters CSV reports? I requested a report and got a blank excel spreadsheet. Please give me an example of what kind of things I should be searching for.

If you are having issues with the Moz tool, try using Google Webmaster tools to see who links back to you. You can also see the last time it was updated and crawled.
Also, this will help you if you are just beginning the competitive analysis. Breaks down all the details:

Hi Keri,
I am also facing this issue with your links data as most of it is outdated and can you please confirm that link data is up to date as 1 month period is quite long and to analyse our site and competitors we have to be quick on analyzing and observe the results.

Unsolved How to Fix Inappropriate Backlink Anchor Text?
Moz Pro is telling me that "get free high quality hd wallpapers designed home" is one of the top anchor texts in backlinks to my website, larrybohenwebsolutions.com. This anchor text has nothing to do with my website. How do I find out where this anchor text is used and how to fix?

Unsolved Struggling to recouple backlinks that lead to 404 after a redesign launch
We had a site redesign launch a few months ago. Due to other priorities / a lot of things going on, there were a decent amount of URLs that 404ed. We implemented a drupal module search404 to redirect all of these to the homepage or a search results page that pulls search terms from the 404 page. Our goal is to recoup SEO value since we saw a notable dip in domain authority and amount of links after launch. We know a catch-all automated solution like this isn't ideal because it's better to 301 each page to its most relevant live page. For example, if CNN.com links to our Texas location, it's better to 301 to our new texas page than a homepage or search page. The problem is that since we implemented this catch all search404 module, it seems like tools like Moz Pro and Screaming Frog are not picking up the backlinks from external sites that 404 since they were "fixed" by the search404 module. Any ideas on solutions? We're trying to avoid tedious or risky solutions like undoing the module, which may bring back the 404s but cause some UX and SEO issues so we can run a SF crawl. Or going through every link in our link profile manually to check.

How do I find http backlinks to my domain?
Hi, We spotted a number of sites linking to us from http sites, not https sites. How can I use backlink tools to find just those from http sites? Right now I'm looking at exporting a spreadsheet with 3.3 million entries and filtering - and there's not one person here who wants to do that! Thanks in advance. Give a Solution my DA is not increasing and not index my backlinks in MOZ??
DA of my site is not increasing. It seems like Moz is not indexing my backlinks. Multiple backlinks of my site [ Tech Spotty ] is not indexing in Moz that is why DA is not increasing. Backlinks of my site have indexed in both Ahref and Semrush both not showing in Moz. DR has increased to 51 but DA is still 7. If anyone has the solution please let me know.

Most of the backlinks not listed
Hi, I'm running a website since one year and a half, and I'm periodically watching with Moz OSE tools the number of backlinks it has. It still shows only 11 backlinks from 8 domains, even if my actual backlinks are much more and come from about 40 domains. I've already searched the forum and read that Moz scraper updates once per month, but all these backlinks are like 6 months old, and still no trace. Many other competitor tools, including the simple google search console can see all the backlinks, only Moz can't retrieve them. Do you have any idea? Somebody else in the same situation? Or is there a way to submit to Moz links to pages containing that backlinks?
