Scaling with schema markup

Right now, the only way I know to do schema markup is through hard coding the designated area where the information is located on the site. I'm thinking about developing an option in a WYSIWYG that allows for basic schema implementation to make it easier for multiple users of experience levels. Does anyone have any examples, tools, or tips for making schema scalable? I want to do a good job with this, but the site I am working on has thousands of pages and multiple "owners."

What environment is the site built in? Normally, you build the microdata markup into the site template, this way no hard-coding of individual microdata is needed.
If you're on WordPress, there are plugins for that.

Schema.org Data Appears on Website
Hello Moz World, I would like to incorporate Schema Data onto my website. My website has Meta tags in the of the document, which incorporates our keywords. And, in the footer, I have my businesses address, logo and other relevant information. Everything flows because it is stylized using CSS. When I input the schema.org data it appears on the website as text w/ a hyperlink. See Code: My Company

Phone: NUMBER I've tried to put it inside the head, body & footer of the HTML code. I want my website to show up properly through Google Structured Data Testing Tool however, I don't want the text to show up on my website not stylized. It sticks out like a soar thumb no matter where I incorporate it. My questions are; Should I even bother with Schema.org? How to work with schema.org together with Wordpress
Hi schema.org seems to be quite simple when working with a plain HTML website. You just look up the code you need on schame.org and implement it in the HTML file as required. But when using Wordpress things become more complicated. I have to use plugins for schemata and then I can only use the schemata that exist in those plugins which are very limited. How do you deal with this issue? Cheers Marc

Schema - LocalBusiness markup for national companies
If we are marking up schema for a company that does services nationally, but has one physical location, should we use LocalBusiness for the organization type? It's an advertising company that is based in North Carolina, but services companies nationally. Thanks as always friends!

Schema.org mark up to avoid duplicate issue?
Hey there, I was wondering, does product's mark-up help to avoid penalization due to duplicate content? Here is the example: one of my client doesn't supply unique content. Because the major part of the content is technical description of products made by a couple of manufactures, do you think it will help me to link the official manufacturer webpage in a schena.org product mark-up? I know this is the right procedure to add mark-ups, but as on the pages of my client an outbound-link will show up, so I want to tell him this will be the only way to have that duplicate content without incurring in penalisation. I'd like to give him more than one solution, as I'm pretty sure it will never supply us with unique content. Thanks Pierpaolo

Alternative Markup Challenge. Can anyone help?
I have a challenge around alternative markup. We currently operate a single domain with geo-targeted folders and alternative markup implemented. We are now now looking to expand this out to non-English content. Current Implementation; All generic English language content hosted on the main domain, with x5 English language content variations (locales) available under a folder structure (.com/en-us/ etc.). Alternative markup is in place for all locales within the HTML, implemented automatically by developers via the CMS. Locale folders geo-targeted via GWT and Bing WT. Planned Launch; Introduction of 5 new non-English locale folders (e.g. /de-de/ etc.), targeted to their respective country and language. Content language will be mixed, with around 1/10 of pages translated and the other 9/10 of pages (business listings) having their body content remain in English, with headers / footers translated. Locale folders will be geo-targeted via GWT and Bing WT. Folder and markup usage TBC. Options; Folders; Implement folder structure /de/, attempting to indicate country but not language (issue; usually a single identifier indicates language, not country?). Implement /de-de/ folder structure to match the English locales and maintain correct country targeting (issue; some content is not in language). Alternative markup; Do not make use of markup at all. Implement CMS based automated markup on all English and non-English content throughout the locale (e.g. /de-de/), but exclude English language versions (e.g. /en-gb/). Attempt manually implementing markup to bridge the English and non-English locales, potentially creating future issues with new content going live and content being removed. A heavy risk. Current approach is webmaster tools targeting, a /de-de/ folder structure and automated implementation of markup. This means English language URLs will have markup and non-English language URLs will have markup, but they will not match up (e.g. English pages will never have markup for non-English language content). If you minds haven't melted, what's your thoughts? Any help is much appreciated.

Where does Schema.org Microdata go on a page?
Say you've got a Magento e-commerce site and you want to add Schema.org Microdata to it to take advantage of Google's Rich Snippets feature. Would the markup be part of the page's HTML TITLE . . . or somewhere in the bare-bones description (usually wrought by inputting data into separate fields in the CMS), e.g., Item: Something

Or, can it be marked-up somewhere beneath my lengthy (and Panda-friendly) content and subsequently extracted by Google and highlighted in the SERPs? Admittedly, I'm more than a bit late to the Schema.org party and I'm a content-guy anyway; and not much good at under-the-hood stuff. I figure I'd better get my chops together, now. I've searched Moz.com's Q&A as well as Google's and Schema.org's and haven't come up with an answer yet that doesn't require that I learn a whole new vocabulary.0
