Event Tracking on GTM 2.0

I have created new account in google tag manager 2.0 Now can any body help me how to track event in GTM 2.0?
Like example this is the site - flipkart(dot)com if you little bit scroll down then there is 3 tab ( pfa of snapshot) - 1) new arrivals 2) Men's Bestsellers 3) Women's Bestsellers.
So i want to know that if anyone click on tabs or button given above then 1) what steps to do in tag manager then 2) what changes i have to update on my site and 3) where to check in google analytic on which tab visitor has clicked.
Please tell me tracking and code for only above given 3 buttons. As on web i am very confused looking lots of post.

I do not believe that rules as a term still exist. It has been renamed as triggers.

Thanks for putting your input, your post is really fantastic and very helpful to non technical person but as you know i am using GTM 2.0 so i stucked at Label level as there no selection of {{element url}} and 2nd thing i cant see Rule in GTM 2.0?
Can anyone share there views or post for new version of GTM 2.0?

I followed this little GTM Event guide from Sparkline... it allowed me to tag click events for internal and outbound clicks using Googles universal analytics with the GTM setup.
So far the events are being picked up nicely in my analytics event logs.
Might be work looking into and hope it helps.

Sorry this is not the answer which i am looking. There is no such campaign nor any i need any url builder, i am looking for if anyone click on tab or button then how to configure in gtm and how to check on analytic ?

Google Analytics - Events impacting session data
Hi Mozzers, Has anybody ever experienced event tracking significantly impacting session data? Here's a summary of what I'm finding: When I measure sessions to a particular hostname (a subdomain) in my Google Analytics report, sessions dropped by over 100% when I removed some event tracking on that subdomain (an event was triggered when a user clicked on a particular button). When I reinstate that event tracking, sessions go back up to around where they used to be. Can anybody understand why this might be happening? Thanks!

Click-to-call mobile event tracking
Hello! I want to track calls on mobile devices from a website. I was able to successfully set up an event with Google Analytics that tracks when a user clicks the phone # on the website, however, as you know, when someone clicks a phone # using iOS it prompts a display of the # and gives the users two options, Cancel or Call. My question: is there any way to track when the user clicks the 'Call' action? Thanks

Google Shopping tracking as organic traffic - help!
Hey guys, I have an eCommerce client who sometimes runs Google PLA and Google Shopping campaigns. However, we don't run his AdWords for him, just do his SEO. At the moment, the Shopping campaigns track as organic traffic within Analytics. And I can't see any way to change this! It's so infuriating. How do I change this? Thanks!

Tracking repeat buyers Universal Analytics
Hi there, I want to track the repeat buyers on my ecommerce. In order to do that, I am going to create a custom dimension on Analytics. The custom dimension will be called "repeat_buyers" with scope user because I want to track the user over time. Is my assumption correct? How would you you set it up? When I have this dimension, I would just apply the default metric transaction on my reports. I don't have experiencie on custom dimensions so I might be totally wrong. Can you please help? Domain redirect for direct mail (source) tracking in Analytics?
We have a client that would like to do some direct mail marketing and the plan is to use a short/simple domain in the marketing materials, which redirects to the main site domain. By default this would show as a referral traffic source in Analytics, right? So any traffic that came through that redirect would be attributed to "shortdomain.com / referral"? Meaning I wouldn't need to do any sort of customized, advanced tracking set up to track conversions that I've already set up (ecomm and goals) and attribute them to this new source? Just double checking that I'm not overlooking something. Thanks!

Uptick in not tracked conversions / anyone have a list of things that google analytics will not track
There seems to have been an uptick in users on our site not being tracked in Google Analytics cause I see a lot more un-tracked revenue in the last 6 months then I used to. I know analytics is still working as it has been tracking a normal amount of visits but I assumed there might be a reason less would be actually showing up in analytics (mabye a change is what is being reported as organic). I know a lot of stuff goes into "not provided" such as logged in search and stuff like that but is there a list of all of the ones that go into not provided and all that just do not get tracked (javascript not enabled, iOS?). If it could be something else as well let me know. Thanks for the help!

I represent a UK based workwear company called myworkwear.co.uk and our rankings have fallen following Penguin 2.0. We are a relatively small company compared to many competitors and have noticed the arrival of large companies in the serps. Many are not even in the workwear sector and pretty irrelevant which is annoying. We have not received any correspondence from Google, but our fall from grace particularly for the word workwear has been big. Do you think our link profile is an issue? Click here: Link Profile Is it worth emailing Google? We have attempted to remove bad links, is it worth using disavow? My feelings are we should: 1. Email Google via Disavow tool about the links we have already tried to remove with proof of attempt.Go through link profile with fine tooth comb and contact an even wider range of webmasters for link removal.Then email Google via disavow tool (best to try removal via email to websites first).2. Begin to build new content and links, even guest blogging is now coming under scrutiny from Google – There really is no bluffing Google anymore.3. Build site conversion.4. Develop a competition theme (10 years old anniversary) combined with say MyWorkHero, etc. Use this for social networking.5. Increase social networking, but is this experts are predicting this is the next kick up for seo.6. Having improved conversion, trial adwords.7. Continue to develop the site in a structured, non manipulative manner. – Look at it as a good site is a successful site in the eyes of Google and the rewards will follow. Newbie Need Step by Step to Track .ca Domaine Redirect from GoDaddy to .com
I, I ask a few time about how to track using Google Analytics, my domain, www.pilatesboisfranc.ca bought at GoDaddy and redirect from the GoDaddy control panel to my domain, http://www.pilatesboisfranc.com/ I don't know anything about coding or webdesign, I did this web site from a theme on wordpress for my wife opening this Pilates Studio in our neighbourhood soon. http://www.pilatesboisfranc.ca/ is advertise on our car.(it will be nice to see if that advertising is worth it!) http://www.pilatesboisfranc.ca/ is redirect from GoGDaddy control panel to the site: http://www.pilatesboisfranc.com/ I had a few answers on this forum, but I'm not sure how to do this. My knowledges are very limited in html and all technical side. Thank to WordPress, Lynda.com and Theme Forest. Those are the tools I took to built this basic web site. Can any body help me track this .ca? I will need a step by step guide to achieve my goal. Google Analytics is instal on the site. Any help will be really appreciated. Thank you, BigBlaze
