Using Wix and the keyword grader tool isn't working.
-
After reading other posts about Wix and SEO I think I need to change the web design provider to something I have more control of SEO options. Does anyone have any suggestions of something I can use?
-
I'd also recommend WordPress. It's an easy to use interface with tons of themes to choose from. The CMS creates clean URLs and you can install the Yoast plugin for free… it is a great SEO tool that covers all bases

I'd use Wordpress. Very efficient and user friendly.

Hello!
I recommend using squarespace. Squarespace is the happy medium between a fully customizable html website and the drag and drop interface (that wix has). You have a lot more control since you can choose to drag and drop or edit the html. This is beneficial for meta data, canonical tags, optimizing individual pages and social media integration. The only issue is that squarespace has their own merchant account you must use. Paypal works for eCommerce; however, you cannot use a third party merchant account.

International SEO: What to do when you're using a ccTLD and want to go global
I'm hoping someone in the Moz community can help me with this one! Essentially, we have a .co.uk brand which wants to have more of an international presence. My question is, purely based on the fact that we're a .co.uk, will we find it more challenging to develop a search engine presence in European/BRIC markets? In a perfect world, we'd have a .com/country or a .es/ etc, but if this isn't possible, how hindered are we if we stick with the .co.uk and want to build a presence in Spain?

WebMaster Tools keeps showing old 404 error but doesn't show a "Linked From" url. Why is that?
Hello Moz Community. I have a question about 404 crawl errors in WebmasterTools, a while ago we had an internal linking problem regarding some links formed in a wrong way (a loop was making links on the fly), this error was identified and fixed back then but before it was fixed google got to index lots of those malformed pages. Recently we see in our WebMaster account that some of this links still appearing as 404 but we currently don't have that issue or any internal link pointing to any of those URLs and what confuses us even more is that WebMaster doesn't show anything in the "Linked From" tab where it usually does for this type of errors, so we are wondering what this means, could be that they still in google's cache or memory? we are not really sure. If anyone has an idea of what this errors showing up now means we would really appreciate the help. Thanks. jZVh7zt.png

Cache Not Working on Our Site
We redesigned our site (www.motivators.com) back in April. Ever since then, we can't view the cache. It loads as a blank, white page but the cache text is at the top saying: "This is Google's cache of http://www.motivators.com/. It is a snapshot of the page as it appeared on Jul 22, 2013 15:50:40 GMT. The current page could have changed in the meantime. Learn more. Tip: To quickly find your search term on this page, press Ctrl+F or ⌘-F (Mac) and use the find bar." Has anyone else ever seen this happen? Any ideas as to why it's happening? Could it be hurting us? Advice, tips, suggestions would be very much appreciated!

Keyword Canabalisation and my solution
Hi. According to one guy, in this thread: http://www.seomoz.org/q/good-seo-titles, the Meta Title, H1 Tag Title on the product page, and the category listing pages should be different to avoid keyword canabilisation. One problem I noticed in my website after reading about this topic, is that all my printers have the keyword sentence :"refurbished printer", yes 99% of the products are refurbished but in that way according to the answer in the above post I am competing against self, too many pages (1000) with the same keywords on it. So I decided to make some changes and I I would like to know the opinion of the experts here, I did this only for one product, then I would of course need to this for lots of products. 1. I created a different meta title. check here please http://www.theprinterdepo.com/hp-color-laserjet-cp2025n-printer-new 2. In the product page itself, I removed the condition from the name of the product, instead I put the template, NAME - MODEL -CONDITION. 3. In the category listing page I havent made any change yet, it still shows the product name only http://www.theprinterdepo.com/new-printers/color-laser-new-printers Check 1st row, 4th column. Is this a good approach?

Keyword stuffing
I'm working on this page at the moment - http://www.gear-zone.co.uk/berghaus-bid6.html. The keyword we're going for is, unsurprisingly, 'Berghaus'. The SEOmoz on page report has flagged up a possible issue with keyword stuffing as the term is mention around 25 times. Is it worth altering this, which could be quite tricky as a lot of the page is dynamically generated? Thanks!
