Keyword Ranks reported by SEOMOZ don't match actual searches
-
SEO Moz reported that various keywords I was tracking were not in the top 50 results on Yahoo or Bing, yet when I did a Yahoo or Bing search for those keywords (from multiple computers and not logged into any Yahoo or MSN/Bing account) I found the keywords easily. What's the scoop?

Hi! So sorry for the late reply. If you're having a problem with the tool like this, the best thing to do is drop a note to help@seomoz.org. I hope it's straightened itself out by now, but if not, the help desk will want to know about it. Thanks!

Hi There,
I believe the SEO Moz data is taken from an image produced by a data centre. This information is forzen in time and updated weekly (i think). Regardless of what computer you use you will have a different result based on location and other factors.
The best way to get unbiased search results is to add the PWS=0 parameter to your search URL or down load a plugin for you browser like "Google Global" for Firefox. this will show you an unbiased search result. As for the SEO Moz tool- the reason they do not match is because they are taking it straight from source with no geo interferance. If you wait for a week you will probably see the results change to reflect this.

Moz Rank /Moz Trust Tips and Tricks
I've been working on the following website (www.pleasantparkkennels.com) for about 2 years now for SEO and been able to place the site for many keywords. At times some competitors seem to come into the mix and 'just get lucky' in their rankings regardless of all the work I've done ... it seems they've implemented no SEO strategies whatsoever and yet them sometimes rank better. Upon comparing link metrics with these competitors, I seem to be doing well in most criteria but Moz Rank and Moz Trust always seems to be a category I fall short in.

Google serps for split keyword searches
A client has come to me with an issue with the marketing of their website. it is mainly focused around the search of their name. the site is an Magento GO hosted e-commerce based site through Magento. it requires a good amount of optimisation and its in a very competitive market - which has high volume of searches. When entering the name of the business it doesn't show on the first page of Google but it does on Bing or Yahoo. The site name is lovehugz and is UK based The issue is when searched for by name lovehugz it appears on the second page, however if the search term is separated love hugz it appears first on the first page. The site is poorly optmised at present with the page title limited to the name lovehugz. Does anybody know of reasons why Google might be behaving in this manner and what steps should be taken to overcome. Optimising for the name is not the only aim here, however it something that should be in place for people searching by name, There is a lot of work to be done to optimise the site for its essential relevant keywords to stand a chance in its market. Any ideas of help would be greatly appreciated thanks

Different SERP results in browsers / different result pages for keyword in browser
Hi, I am making the SEO reports for a travel agency and I have the following problem. SEOmoz shows me the website is on page 1, for a keyword. Yesterday, a google search with firefox showed me the same position, while, searching from a different computer on google using firefox gave me another position. The URL shown was also different. I asked some friends to do the search - the results were the same - first page. Today, firefox shows me the second URL on the 4'th page, and the result from the first page of google does not appear, while Chrome still shows me the first URL on the first page. I have no idea why the URL that was ranking well does not appear on the first page with Firefox, and why it appears on the first page with Chrome, or why the URL that was ranking bad -meaning page 4, appears on Firefox but does not appear on Chrome. Can someone give me some advice?
