Hi,
Quick question regarding author pages.
I have the blog set as me for my author page. so the url is:
Now, seomoz has picked up that my author page is missing meta description.
But, this cannot be editied through wordpress as there is no edit option available.
I may really be missing something, but where can I alter the author page, I have a feeling it might be fed from G+ but no really sure what part of G+ is used as the description.
Thanks
Miles

If you're comfortable editing templates, you can use some variation of the following call in your template file to display the author bio:
If you're not, you can use this plugin and activate the feature for the archive pages using the settings panel:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-biographia/
Google should then automatically display the author bio as the meta description, even if the tag isn't explicitly defined.

I have yoast, it does not allow the author page to be edited.

Will pushing a visitor to a conversion page hosted on a 3rd-party domain hurt the landing page ranking
Had an interesting question from a client. The client has a page that is optimized for a specific term. The goal of the page is to push users to sign-up for a trial. The trial registration (conversion) page is hosted by a third-party. Will pushing users to the conversion page cannibalize the SEO authority of the landing page. My reflexive answer is to say no, but now am not so sure.

Duplicate content from category pages?
I have an ecommerce store with different categories for my products. Some products do appear in more than one category, is that an issue even if you end up on the same product page/link? Also, I have a "show all products" category, which I believe creates duplicate content too? What is your take on this? What can I do to solve this? Is it even an issue of duplicate content? All answers are very much appreciated!

Changing the page a term ranks for
Hi all, I hope you can help advise me of the best way to change the page that is ranking for a particular keyword/term. Is it just a case of on-page optimizing the term/keyword on the new-page and getting good links/traffic to that page and leaving the old one as it is, or is some sort of "de-optimization" of the old page a something that could help? Thanks.
