SEOmoz report vs. Google's Algo
-
Hello,
I got an SEOmoz Report for one of our clients and the report is showing these pages and many more others as duplicate page content. Thing is the page content is not duplicate however there is very little data differentiating the contents. My question is does Google see the following pages contents as duplicate? because seomoz does.

This is good data, however we are still wondering if the "search engine" will see those pages as mentioned above as duplicates? Does the SEOmoz data reflect the search engines algo?
It's too bad GWT does not provide this data...

Hi Bryan,
Nearly every element on that page is a duplicate except for image, page title and a few words of text. For it not to be classed as duplicate you could add a better description of the photo (2-3 lines), link to related images, link to related posts/content, show a navigational breadcrumb (better for users as well) etc etc.
Google will see this as very thin content - you need to work on it a bit.
Thanks

Need help understanding search filter URL's and meta tags
Good afternoon Mozzers, One of our clients is a real estate agent and on that site there is a search field that will allow a person to search by filtered categories. Currently, the URL structure makes a new URL for each filter option and in my Moz reports I get the report that there is missing meta data. However, the page is the same the filter options are different so I am at a loss as to how to proper tag our site to optimize those URL's. Can I rel canonical the URL's or alt rel them? I have been looking for a solution for a few days now and like I said I am at a loss of how to properly resolve these warning messages, or if I should even be concerned with the warning messages from Moz (obviously I should be concerned, they are warning messages for a reason). Thank you for your assistance in advance!

What's the best way to keep track of keyword rankings
Here's the deal. I keep track of my keyword rankings with the help of Rank Tracker from seopowersuite.com for the most part. I ran it on a daily basis and my keyword was not in top 100 for a few months. Moz.com panel shows pretty much the same (not in top 50) for the same months. That said, if I check that keyword ranking in my Google Webmaster Tools (avg. position) it says that its position (ranking?) was on average: 49, 7, 7, 8 (for the last four months). So, I'm not sure how it's even possible? How come Rank Tracker and Moz don't see any rankings and Google gives me sorta decent avg. positions at the same time. I assume that avg. postion means that same as avg. ranking, right? I'm not sure what I'm missing here.

Inbound links not showing in reports
My clients site so far only has a few inbound links. If I do a report on MOZ/Open Site Explorer it only lists 10 domains linking in and, a number of important ones are not on that list. As an example, one of the leading UK national newspapers (Daily Telegraph) has a link on this page to the client www.vidavida.co.uk and yet this link/domain does not appear in the above reports. Is this an intentional nofollow type thing that the telegraph does and is there a way for me to check that on their site/page? http://fashion.telegraph.co.uk/news-features/TMG8655068/Holiday-travel-in-style.html Any comments most appreciated. Thanks,

In the past I heard that other SEO type crawling software like WP Gold could seriously harm your rankings in the search engines - especially Google. How is SeoMoz different ?
