Question in regards to Comparing Metrics with MOZ tools
-
Hi all!
After using the "Compare Links Metrics" in the research tools, a few questions popped up. Particularly, in regards to what key metrics to look for when determining if a websites outbound links are trustworthy and may pass Link-juice. Basically, "if my link is put on that website, will search engines trust it"? I've copied an example below and typed a few comments next to particular metrics. Please share some insight them:
Page Authority: 48
Page MozRank: 4.94 -Is 4.94 considered OK?
Page MozTrust: 4.96 -Is 4.96 considered OK?
Internal Equity-Passing Links: 2,819
External Equity-Passing Links: 2,326 -Lower = better?
Total Equity-Passing Links: 5,145
Total Internal Links: 2,844
Total External Links: 2,383 - Lower = better?
Total Links: 5,227
Followed Linking Root Domains: 88
Total Linking Root Domains: 129
Linking C Blocks: 30
Equity-Passing Links vs
Non-Equity-Passing Links:** I am assuming that the higher the Non-equity passing links VS the Equity passing links is typically better? What would be an idea ratio?**Internal Links vs
External Links: Lower external = better? -
That's a great location but it seems like most of the info there is pretty spread out in regards to my question. I was interested in figuring out if the number of external link on a site will influence their own reputation, and how.
For example, if site A has 500 external link, and site B has 1000 - and assuming all other metrics are the same for both sites - which one should I try to pursue as far as getting an external link to my own site (i.e. which has the highest SEO value for me)?
Also, I am assuming that when a site has 500 external links, that is 500 external links going out (not coming in).

I was going to try and write about which each one means, but I would just be duplicating this whole section of Moz:
http://moz.com/learn/seo/domain-authority
Down the right hand side there is a link to each of the sections, with videos and far more information than I could post in the answer box here.
Hope this is useful
Andy

Links in link lists not being discovered by Moz
I uploaded a couple of link lists to Moz about a week ago and have been tracking them. Most of the links on the list are from significant 90+ DA domains such as Wikipedia, Medium, etc. So far, Moz only seems to have discovered about 4 the 200 or so links I loaded. Do we know how long it takes for these to be discovered by Moz? Quite new to this, so any help understanding timelines for this would be appreciated.

Sudden Spike in 404 Pages Not Found in Moz Crawl But No Errors in WMT
Recently I received a spike in errors from the Moz crawler. When I looked into the matter I noticed that all the URI's looked right but then I looked a little closer and there was a /page/2 and /page/3 in front of the URI's. I'm running a WordPress website. Immediately I thought to myself this must be some kind of caching or permalinks error. So I disabled all my plugins including W3 Total Cache and ran the Integrity Link Crawler for the Mac and found that the errors were still popping up. 404-errors-ncworkercomp.png?dl=0

Regarding the SPAM Score
Hi Guy's I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong . I recreated my whole new website , Disavow the links , Created the landscape.pages , Put the fresh content . Still working on fresh blog. Fetch the fresh index through google webmaster. Working on couple of errors . Created high pr links . Run the Ppc keywords Did strong social media marketing . I notice my DA and PA got increased , However my spam score is still same . My niche is www.shinedental.net. There are some website who showed up in top research of google their spam score is 7 . I'm not sure , if the moz database update every month or when we crawl the website . I delete the campaign and re-run it. ZFqO9CZ

Moz Pro: Linking RDs to Page much lower than Google Search Console
I'm trying to use the Analyze Keyword tool in Moz Pro, and in the SERP Analysis table, my page has a PA of one, and zero root domains linking to it. If I look at the page in Google Search console, it says I have 229 root domains linking to the page from well known domains like github.com, meetup.com, stackoverflow.com, etc. This particular keyword has been tracked in Moz for the last 6 months, but I just noticed that it was extremely low. I am relatively new to Moz, so forgive me if I sound confused, but can someone explain to me how the numbers can be so low?

Duplicated content detected with MOZ crawl with canonical applied
Hi there! I have a slight problem.
Link Explorer | | Eurasmus.com
I have a site with Joomla 3.3 that we recently migrated from 2.5. Joomla, for some reason that I don´t really get, creates hundreds of weird urls for the site like
mydomain.com/en -> joomla creates en/home/149-xxx-xxx/xxxxxx-xxxxxx that links to the first one.
The new version 3.3 knows this bug and applies a rel=canonical to the ones created "artificially", so they should not be identified as duplicated. Sample piece of code: en/home/149-all-en/xxxxxxx-xxxxxx" rel="canonical" / MOZ crawler identifies this as duplicated and like this I have thousands of pages duplicated all with titles, content etc... all the ones created by joomla. Still my site has good SEO results and I can not see any penalties but I am a bit concerned they may come in the future.... Can anyone explain me what is happening? Thank you in advance for your time,0
