Page structure and how to optimize old content

SITE STRUCTURE
I am trying to optimize the structure of our site Dreamestatehuahin.com. Getting a visible sitemap of my page make me realized it was not a pyramid as I expected it to be but instead very flat.
I Would be happy for some advise on how to structure my site in future aswell how to optimize certain place on the page that i think need a change.
1: structure on posts.
Maybe I misunderstand how post works in wordpress or something happen with my theme.
When I look at my page sitemap my page is VERY flat because permalinks setting I chose the setting as post name (recommended in most articles). http://www.dreamestatehuahin.com/sample-post
What I actually believed was that post name was place after /blog/ like:
http://www.dreamestatehuahin.com/blog/sample-post I would be a good idea to do like this right?
Should I add some SEO text on the top of my blog page before the actually posts. Or would this be a bad idea due to pagination causing double content?
Could one do 4 blogs in one site and replace the name “blog” in the url with a keywords
http://www.dreamestatehuahin.com/real-estate-announcement/sample-post
http://www.dreamestatehuahin.com/hua-hin-attractions/sample-post
2) Pages Based on property type
From our top menu, i have made links under for sael using wordpress property types
http://www.dreamestatehuahin.com/property-type/villa/
http://www.dreamestatehuahin.com/property-type/hot-deals/
http://www.dreamestatehuahin.com/property-type/condominium/
Earlier I found that these pages created duplictaon of titles due to pagenation so I deleted the h1
What would you do with these pages. Should I optimize them with a text and h1. maybe it is possible to add some title and text content for the top of the first page only (the one page that are linked to our top menu)
http://www.dreamestatehuahin.com/property-type/villa
and not to page 2, 3, 4…..
http://www.dreamestatehuahin.com/property-type/villa/page/2/
b) Also maybe I should rename the property types
WOuld it make sence to change name of the property types from etc villa to villas for sale or even better villas for sale hua hin
Then the above urls will look like this instead:
http://www.dreamestatehuahin.com/property-type/villas-for-sale/
Or Maybe renaming a property type would result in many 404 errors and not be worth the effort?
3) LINKING + REPOSTING OUR “PROPERTY” PAGES AND DO A 301 REDIRECT?
a) Would It be good idea to link back from all properties description to one of our 5 optimized landingpages (for the keyword home/house/condo/villa) for sale in Hua Hin?
http://www.dreamestatehuahin.com/property-hua-hin/
http://www.dreamestatehuahin.com/house-for-sale-hua-hin/
b) Also so far we haven’t been really good about optimizing each property (no keywords, optimized titles or descriptions)
etc. http://www.dreamestatehuahin.com/property/baan-suksamran/
I wonder if it would be worth the effort to optimize content of each of the old properties )photos-text) on our page?
Or maybe post the old properties again in a new optimized version and do a 301 redirect from the old post?

Hi there, and welcome! Wow, you've asked a lot of great questions. Would you mind asking them one at a time as new questions? You are more likely to get each question answered completely that way.

Hi Tamir,
First of all welcome to the Moz community!
I would propose you to take a few hours and watch the following two mozinars:
- http://moz.com/webinars/internal-linking-a-scientific-scalable-approach
The advanced Wordpress SEO helped me a lot in understanding how to approach the technical implementations on Wordpress for SEO purposes. It is quite old, but I do not think it is outdated at all.
I hope these help respond your questions.
Gr., Keszi

Paginated Pages Page Depth
Hi Everyone, I was wondering how Google counts the page depth on paginated pages. DeepCrawl is showing our primary pages as being 6+ levels deep, but without the blog or with an infinite scroll on the /blog/ page, I believe it would be only 2 or 3 levels deep. Using Moz's blog as an example, is https://moz.com/blog?page=2 treated to be on the same level in terms of page depth as https://moz.com/blog? If so is it the https://site.comcom/blog" /> and https://site.com/blog?page=3" /> code that helps Google recognize this? Or does Google treat the page depth the same way that DeepCrawl is showing it with the blog posts on page 2 being +1 in page depth compared to the ones on page 1, for example? Thanks, Andy

I'm looking for a bulk way to take off from the Google search results over 600 old and inexisting pages?
When I search on Google site:alexanders.co.nz still showing over 900 results. There are over 600 inexisting pages and the 404/410 errrors aren't not working. The only way that I can think to do that is doing manually on search console using the "Removing URLs" tool but is going to take ages. Any idea how I can take down all those zombie pages from the search results?

Will more comprehensive content on product pages help improve ranking?
We're working to improve the ranking of one of our product landing pages. The page that currently ranks #1 has a very simple, short layout with the main keyword many times on the page with otherwise very little text. One thought we had was to make a more comprehensive page including more info on the features and benefits of the product. The thought being that a longer form page would be more valuable and potentially look better to Google if the other SEO pieces are on par. Does that make sense to do? Or would it be better to keep the product page simple and make some more related content on our blog linking back to that landing page? Thanks in advance to any help you can provide!

Ecommerce SEO: Shared content on product pages
Hi Guys, I am wondering what the best practices are for avoiding duplicate content on product pages that have shared content. For example, say I have a 3 different product pages for each of the following: Verizon IPhone 5 16GB, AT&T IPhone 5 16GB, AT&T IPhone 5 32GB. Obviously each product is for the most part the same (all are IPhone 5). The only differences lie in the carrier of the phone and the storage capacity. I want to write product descriptions for each page to target a variety of different keywords, but I don't want to get penalized for duplicate content. Does anybody have any experience in what the SEO best practices are for product pages that have shared content like this? Thank you!

What to do when your home page an index for a series of pages.
I have created an index stack. My home page is http://www.southernwhitewater.com The home page is the index itself and the 1st page http://www.southernwhitewater.com/nz-adventure-tours-whitewater-river-rafting-hunting-fishing My home page (if your look at it through moz bat for chrome bar} incorporates all the pages in the index. Is this Bad? I would prefer to index each page separately. As per my site index in the footer What is the best way to optimize all these pages individually and still have the customers arrive at the top to a picture. rel= canonical? Any help would be great!! http://www.southernwhitewater.com

Duplicate Content Pages - A Few Queries..
I am working through the latest Moz Crawl Report and focusing on the 'high priority' issues of Duplicate Page Content. There are some strange instances being flagged and so wondered whether anyone has any knowledge as to why this may be happening... Here is an example; This page; http://www.bolsovercruiseclub.com/destinations/cruise-breaks-&-british-isles/bruges/ ...is apparently duplicated with these pages; http://www.bolsovercruiseclub.com/guides/excursions http://www.bolsovercruiseclub.com/guides/cruises-from-the-uk http://www.bolsovercruiseclub.com/cruise-deals/norwegian-star-europe-cruise-deals Not sure why...? Also, pages that are on our 'Cruise Reviews' section such as this page; http://www.bolsovercruiseclub.com/cruise-reviews/p&o-cruises/adonia/cruising/931 ...are being flagged as duplicated content with a page like this; http://www.bolsovercruiseclub.com/destinations/cruise-breaks-&-british-isles/bilbao/ Is this a 'thin content' issue i.e. 2 pages have 'thin content' and are therefore duplicated? If so, the 'destinations' page can (and will be) rewritten with more content (and images) but the 'cruise reviews' are written by customers and so we are unable to do anything there... Hope that all makes sense?! Andy

301 redirect for page 2, page 3 etc of an article or feed
Hey guys, We're looking to move a blog feed we have to a new static URL page. We are using 301 redirects but I'm unsure of what to regarding page 2, page 3 etc. of the feed. How do I make sure those urls are being redirected as well? For example: Moving FloridaDentist.com/blog/dental-tips/ to a new page url FloridaDentist.com/dental-tips. So, we are using a 301 on that old url to the new one. My questions is what to do with the other pages like FloridaDentist.com/blog/dental-tips/page/3. How do we make sure that page is also 301'd to the new main url?

Duplicate Content issue on pages with Authority and decent SERP results
Hi, I'm not sure what the best thing to do here is. I've got quite a few duplicate page errors in my campaign. I must admit the pages were originally built just to rank a keyword variation. e.g. Main page keyword is [Widget in City] the "duplicate" page is [Black Widget in City] I guess the normal route to deal with duplicate pages is to add a canonical tag and do a 304 redirect yea? Well these pages have some page Authority and are ranking quite well for their exact keywords, what do I do?
