Compare to Front End view source contain more tageting keywords any impact on seo?
-
Hi All,
I am using chrome browser and in my category page when i search my keyword like example Acer Laptop it is showing me 40 searches for that keyword in front end while in view source it is showing 100.
Now for same category of my competitor page when i search Acer Laptop it shows 20 searches in front end and 300 in view source.
So my question is -
-
Is it a good practice

I have seen my competitor page he is using tab button where lot of geunine content is there that is the reason hiss view source keyword search is more. So will it impact on seo?

There is some indication that Google may discount content hidden in tabs or click to expand, even if it is genuine content. (John Mueller of Google said this in a Google + hangout--see this article by Barry Schwartz on the topic.)

Hi Alick,
Thanks for prompt response.
In case of my competitor he has used tab button which contain genuine content like technical information, more info, etc. So is this case is it good signal in terms of google?

Hi,
I assume that you are saying when you search a particular keyword at front end that keyword used 40 times and when you check in view source that keyword mentioned 100 times.
If my assumption is true first I would like to let you know that keyword used in different tag don't show in front end like keyword used in meta title, description and other tags but in your case difference is huge . I think you are hiding keywords by some spam method that is absolutely not good for SEO.
If you are violating any Google guideline that will not good for your site and your site could be penalized. Use keywords in natural way to give better experience to users not only for search engine bot.
Hope this helps
Thanks

Can I optimize two different pages with very similar keywords without hurting SEO?
Hi there, I have often heard that you cannot have multiple pages rank for the same keyword. My question here is more about long tail keywords who have the same keyword phrase repeated on different pages. For Example: I have two webpages with different content. I want to have one page (Homepage) rank for the more generic term such as "innovation management" and another supporting page rank for "innovation management software". Will Google see these two different webpages as competing? Should I avoid repeating the more general term in the phrase? Has anyone ever seen your SEO results decline when doing this? I don't believe this is duplicate content since the pages hold completely different copy and assets but I am not sure if the repeating phrase in the title tags will flag anything to the search engines.

Beating a keyword Domain
Has anyone here managed to beat a keyword/exact match domain to top spot? I am currently second and wondering if it is worth the time and effort to knock it off the top spot. How hard is it to get these very annoyingly favoured domains off 1st? Any help and advice much appreciated.
