More complete campaign reports
-
SEOMoz campaigns include a lot more data than can be sent via email automatically with the custom reporting feature. So what do people do to send that data to clients?
Do you not include it? Or export reports manually and send them on? Or something else?
-
Thanks very much for your input. I've downloaded a trial of PowerSuite to take a look.

There is a lot of overlap, for sure. The biggest advantage of the other is pretty exportable reports. But it will definitely highlight subtle things that SEOmoz won't as well (keyword competitiveness and volume, markup errors, social sharing, link data from other crawlers, and so forth).
Unfortunately there really isn't an "end all" SEO solution. We run our agency with about 30 cloud apps, and there are still loads that I'd love to budget in.

Is there much cross over between the two tools? Or do each do certain things that the other doesn't, or better than the other does?
-
Personally, I don't.
I use the data to shape long, detailed sets of actionable recommendations. If you want some really pretty reports, you might consider SEO PowerSuite's Website Auditor (which I do actually PDF up, branded, to clients). The only downside, as with all of this, is that more quality SEO tools cost more money.

Not provided Data in SEOMoz reports
Hi How do SeoMoz reports deal with 'not provided' data I see my total visits from organic search for a month are same as total of both my branded and non branded keyword traffic combined yet GA is reporting 157 visits from non provided data so is SEOMoz being very clever and finding a way to decipher this not provided data and allocate it accordingly in the reports ? Or if not what ? Many Thanks Dan

Historical data in rank report not matching summary?
I got a new rank report today. For a lot of keywords in Yahoo and Bing it is saying things like >49 etc. When I hover over it, it tells me that these are new keywords for me that I didn't rank for before. When I look at the historical graph for those specific engines though it just shows me going back at the same position historically. For example like position 17 going back many months without change. Can anyone tell me what is up with that?

How much notice should be paid to the warnings on the SEO Moz crawl reports? We manage a fairly large property site and a lot of the errors on the crawl reports relate to automated responses. SEOmoz Campaign Setup: What would you do?
I've been using moz for nearly a year now. Initially when I set up our site (rac.com.au) it was as a single campaign for the rac.com.au domain. However, our business has a number of different product offerings and marketing teams (Insurance, finance, travel/tourism, automotive, security etc) - would I be better off setting each of these 'sub' brands as a campaign on their own using the 'folder' campaign setup? For example, have a campaign setup for the Insurance business (rac.com.au/insurance) folder, Finance business (rac.com.au/finance) and so forth? The advantage I see to the folder campaign setup is more specific reporting for each of the business units. Are there disadvantages to this? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Ryan

False Pro reporting of duplicate titles
I am testing Pro. About 250 pages of content at my website. Pro says ALL of my pages have duplicate titles., but when I click on details, they display as unique titles. Ie: first page of results of Pro is as follows. While the content of my website is on one major topic the title meta tags are NOT identical. Is this an issue with Pro, or is Pro looking at something other than the title meta tags? Please advise ? Best Automated Report?
I would like to implement a reporting function to my website to offer a bit of value and information to potential clients. I am thinking along the lines of a simple input form to include a business name and url. The output would be a clean, branded (my business, url, phone) report that shows opportunities, lowest lying fruit, keywords most prominent, and any errors. I found this site - http://www.analyticsseo.com/ but, it seems pretty expensive. Does anyone have any suggestions on another suite that might work? Many thanks!

How can I clean up my crawl report from duplicate records?
I am viewing my Crawl Diagnostics Report. My report is filled with data which really shouldn't be there. For example I have a page: http://www.terapvp.com/forums/Ghost/ This is a main forum page. It contains a list of many threads. The list can be sorted on many values. The page is canonicalized, and has been since it was created. My crawl report shows this page listed 15 times. http://www.terapvp.com/forums/Ghost/?direction=asc http://www.terapvp.com/forums/Ghost/?direction=desc http://www.terapvp.com/forums/Ghost/?order=post_date and so forth. Each of those pages uses the same canonicalization reference shared above. I have three questions: Why is this data appearing in my crawl report? These pages are properly canonicalized. If these pages are supposed to appear in the report for some reason, how can I remove them? My desire is to focus on any pages which may have an issue which needs to be addressed. This site has about 50 forum pages and when you add an extra 15 pages per forum, it becomes a lot harder to locate actionable data. To make matters worse, these forum indexes often have many pages. So if I have a "Corvette" forum there that is 10 pages long, then there will be 150 extra pages just for that particular forum in my crawl report. Is there anything I am missing? To the best of my knowledge everything is set up according to the best SEO practices. If there is any other opinions, I would like to hear them.
