In Facebook when i place my site URL the image does not load?
It loads some generic image or logo but not other image thats related to the page. Is there any Tag we need to add in the website so the image loads?
Is it good to use a tag as this for description?
property="og:description" content="Some data" />

As others have said, there are a few ways to tackle this but all involve improving your schema so it adheres to the Facebook Open Graph standard (http://ogp.me/). If your site is a Wordpress site (or other CMS), there are some simple ways to set this up. Then, when you place a link to your site in the Facebook post, the correct image and information is pulled in automatically. This can have a great impact on your professional appearance so it's recommended that you do take care of it.
That said, let us know what kind of site you are working with and maybe we can offer some more specific directions.

If you want to control your image in Social Media you need to include these tags, you don't need all of them if you are only interested in one platform
Once you have them on the page and filled out, you will need to tell Facebook or Twitter to update the markup with this tool

Which platform are you using? If it doesn't work you could make your own button using an image of your choosing with a live link to your Facebook page, or use one of the buttons Facebook supplies in their Developer section Many sites now very easily give sitewide social links but I have heard that some users are being penalised for this. I have taken mine down and manually apply social links in a few appropriate places instead of using the built in systems which often spam your whole site with unnecessary links.

Should I use a canonical URL for images uploaded to a blog post in Wordpress?
Hi, I have a wordpress website that has articles/news posts witch contain imagery. I've noticed that in the Media Library, when you upload an image to a blog post it generates a new permalink ...article-name/article-image-01.jpg I have Yoast SEO plugin and have the option to set a canonical URL for this image. Should I point it back to the actual article? Thanks for any helpers with this.

International URL Structures
Hi everyone! I've read a bunch of articles on the topic, but I can't seem to be able to figure out a solution that works for the specific case. We are creating a site for a service agency, this agency has offices around the world - the site has a global version (in English/French & Spanish) and some country specific versions. Here is where it gets tricky: in some countries, each office has a different version of the site and since we have Canada for example we have a French and an English version of the site. For cost and maintenance reason, we want to have a single domain : www.example.com We want to be able to indicate via Search Console that each subdomain is attached to a different country, but how should we go about it. I've seen some examples with subfolders like this: Global FR : www.example.com/fr-GL Canada FR: www.example.com/fr-ca France: www.example.com/fr-fr Does this work? It seems to make more sense to use : **Subdirectories with gTLDs, **but I'm not sure how that would work to indicate the difference between my French Global version vs. France site. Global FR : www.example.com/fr France : www.example.com/fr/fr Am I going about this the right way, I feel the more I dig into the issue, the less it seems there is a good solution available to indicate to Google which version of my site is geo-targeted to each country. Thanks in advance!

Image Duplication
I'm feeling strong! Ok, so can Google penalise a website which has "duplicated images" - coming from a completely independent website?

Dropped 20 places!
Hi everyone, I have spent the last 3 weeks using SEO Moz to improve the SEO of my website. I have reduced the amount of crawl errors from 6000 to 600, I have optimized my on-page to A grade for 4 of my main keywords and have been posting keyword optimized blogs posts 3 / 4 times weekly. My reward for this? A drop down to page 4 of Google for my main keyword and a very annoyed boss! Can anyone think where I may have gone wrong? Thanks

What can we do to improve our site
Hi. I am hoping that some of you can help me with the in2town site www.in2town.co.uk The site is a news/lifestyle magazine site. The site is a cross between, huffington post, digital spy, female first and the sun newspaper. Basically the site is a news site as well as covering showbiz news, travel news, health news and advice etc What i would like is for people to look at the site and let me know what they feel i should do to improve the site to make it better for our readers and to gain more readership. I would also like to hear from people on how they find moving around the site as well as the speed of the site. At the moment the site is with an american hosting company and i am in the process of talking to UK hosting companies to move the site. The site is currently on a dedicated server. It would mean a lot if people could give me their advice on how to improve the site and make it a beter experience for our readers while at the same time being able to generate income with the site. Just a quick note, all content is original and we have a number of people who write for the site. many thanks

Keywords in Vanity URL
If I set up a vanity URL that just 301's to the main site, do the search engines look at the keywords in the vanity URL when determing how to rank the site. For example, if I set up a vanity URL of www.coolnewtechgear.com, and redirect it to www.company.com/products/, would the search engines view the keywords of cool, new, tech, and gear and associate that with the page it's getting redirected to? Or does it ignore the vanity URL and only look at the content of the page itself?
