Why RogerBot can't crawl site https://unplag.com
-
Hello
Please help me to solve the problem.
The on-page grader and Crawl Test are not working for Unplag.com website. Both said that they can't access the url. Yes, I've tried different variants like unplag.com, http://unplag.com
One more thing - RogerBot was disallowed in robots.txt file. I deleted it from the file a week ago so maybe moz index haven't been renewed.

Thank you. I'll try to solve the problem

The trouble is not with your robot.txt - in the server config you block rogerbot completely and serve a 400 for each request it makes..
If you have a user agent switcher plugin in your browser & change the user agent to rogerbot (rogerbot/1.1 (http://moz.com/help/guides/search-overview/crawl-diagnostics#more-help, rogerbot-crawler+pr2-crawler-101@moz.com) - the server returns a 400 Bad Request.

The logs are like this:
"GET / HTTP/1.0" 400 166 "-" "rogerbot/1.1 (http://moz.com/help/guides/search-overview/crawl-diagnostics#more-help, rogerbot-crawler+pr2-crawler-101@moz.com)" "-" - "https"
and of course sometimes rogerbot is trying to see the robots file:
"GET /robots.txt HTTP/1.1" 400 166 "-" "rogerbot/1.1 (http://moz.com/help/guides/search-overview/crawl-diagnostics#more-help, rogerbot-crawler+pr2-crawler-101@moz.com)" "-" - "https"
for me it looks like the rogerbot is disallowed in robots.txt but the file is like this https://unplag.com/robots.txt
-
thanks a lot!

Follow the advice from Jordan below and try to check your log files to see what the server response is when Rogerbot is trying to visit the site.
I noticed some DNS issues with your site - check http://dnscheck.pingdom.com/?domain=unplag.com - Nameservers don't seem to be ok. Also noticed that you have a 302 redirect from http -> https - while this should be 301. Probably not related to your main issue but worth checking.
-
Thanks.
The last crawl was after the robots.txt change.
And I don't see any errors in the dashboard.
-
After creating a fresh test campaign for the site, I'm still seeing a 400 response being served to rogerbot from https://unplag.com/. While I'm not able to pinpoint the exact setting that is causing the site to serve that response, I'd recommend checking your server logs to verify the response that is being served.

It's possible that your site hasn't been crawled yet (since you changed the robots.txt). You can see in your campaign dashboard (upper right corner) when the next crawl is scheduled.
Do you see any specific error codes on your dashboard?

Keyword Explorer how can I uncover all phrases relating to a single keyword?
From what I can see in Keyword Explorer you cannot enter a single keyword and uncover all search phrases that include this word. Or at least when I try to "Display keyword suggestions that" and select "only include keywords that contain all the query terms" and then enter a keyword. I cannot find a phrase in the list even when I can find it via a different search when if I type it directly.

On-Page Grader URL inaccessible when copy/pasted but not when edited
Hi!, I've looked through multiple topics on this but none quite seem to fit what's going on - hopefully someone can help! I get the error message 'Sorry, but that URL is inaccessible.' when I copy and paste a url from my site into the search e.g. http://www.orbussoftware.com/enterprise-architecture/ However if I edit this to https the search completes fine. Since we redesigned our site approx 6 months ago, we've found most of our rankings have completely dropped off, and now I'm getting this error I'm wondering if it has something to do with how our site is structured? If I'm getting this error with Moz does that mean Google could be having issues too? Or is it all just a strange quirk? Thanks!

Issues with Crawl Test and SSL Certificate
So I have having issues with the Crawl Test being able to crawl my site accurately due to what the tool is saying is a "SSL Certificate Error" (804 : HTTPS (SSL) error encountered when requesting page.) Only thing is that I have no warnings about this SSL issue in Search Console and when I check the SSL on https://www.sslshopper.com it comes back just fine. Anybody know why this might be happening or have encountered this issue before?

How can I find duplicate pages from a Moz Crawl?
We have many duplicate pages that show up on the Moz Crawl, and we're trying to fix these but it's very difficult because I can't see a way to isolate the code where the duplicate is found. For instance, http://experiencemission.org/immersion/ is one of our main pages, and the crawl shows one duplicate of http://experiencemission.org/immersion. It appears that one of our staff manually edited the source code in one of our pages but forgot the trailing slash. This would be an easy fix but the problem is that this page is linked to internally on our website 2423 times, so it's next to impossible to find the code that is incorrect. We have many other pages with this same basic problem. We know we have duplicates, but it's next to impossible to isolate them. So my question is this: When viewing the Moz Crawl data is there any way to see where a specific duplicate page link is located on our website? Thanks for any and all help!

Does anyone else have issues with Moz's keyword search volume tool for Google's search engine?
It will show the search volume for Bing even when Google is selected. Then, if you select Bing, you'll get the same data as it shows for when you selected "google". So basically, this tool does not work for Google's search engine. Or it is most likely not a reliable way to perform keyword research. Anyone else notice this? Does Moz even offer a way to submit a support ticket to get this fixed?

We Launched a new site and Rogerbot is still reporting on links/errors from the old site, is there a way to clear those out?
We are mostly a Branding agency, and have not put a lot of effort into SEO for ourselves... SEO tends to take a backseat to design most of the time, making it a little difficult for me at times when it comes to SEO. We recently launched a new site, http://Roninadv.com/ and the developer and I have done quite a bit of work to make it work well for Google. I was really looking forward to a new crawl report from Roger, but alas, It's like Roger crawled the old site? The new site has been up since last Monday. Is there a way to clear out the old errors? Do I just need to give roger more time?

Site Crawler Tool by the Company Formerly Known As SEOMoz
Moz had a tool I used that would crawl my site and send me a report of all pages, all errors, 301s 404s 505s, and a whole plethora of stuff. I used it to fix pesky errors quite a bit. Does this still exist? Was it replaced or am I just not finding it in the new design?
