Too Many Internal Links Reported By SEOmoz
-
Hi,
I recently did run a crawl report for my blog dapazze.com, and found that SEOmoz is reporting many pages on my blog having more than 100 internal links.
I opened OSE, and made a search for one of my pages which was reported to contain more than 100 links. And I found it to contain 464 internal links.
Please have a look at it. I have chosen - Show "All" links from "only internal" pages to "this page" option in OSE, which reports me this.
I see almost every page in my blog linking to every page. This is not the problem for me. I have also tried to make a search for some popular bloggers, like ProBlogger.net, ShoutMeLoud.com, HellBoundBloggers.com, etc, and all of them have the same problem.
Should I be worrying about this problem? What is the problem actually?

Hi Rahul,
Actually its not the error, you can have more than 100 internal link on a single page. In report, SEOMOZ just point out the pages so that you can look into it. You will see same whenever they find canonical tag on your web page, they just report you so you can verify it out.

Homepage canonical url with splash or not with splash? All other links are without but logo links with splash
Hello, There is so much contradicting information about the homepage canonical URL. Many websites have all the links without the trailing splash but their homepage URL still contains the splash. Now Moz is an example with this. Their urls don't have the splash, and their canonical does not have the splash. Why is it so and why so much different ways people have it?

Ecommerce internal search results pages
I'm working on a ecommerce site that allows product search results pages to be sorted a variety of ways (best selling, newest, by price). Each of these search filters creates a new url i.e. /all/best/1 and /all/best/2; /all/new/1 and /all/new/2; etc. These search results pages have been indexed and the site is receiving enough organic traffic from these pages that I don't want to add noindex, follow to them. I am planning on implementing rel=prev, rel=next for each filter, but I'm concerned about duplicate content considering I can't create unique meta data for each page. Should I canonical all pages to the first search results page without filters applied? Or any other ideas on how I should proceed?

How to handle lots of outbound links
I decided to create a page on my website where I would list all of my favorite resources and 3rd party tools. There are now 35 links in the main content section of the page, all with anchor text, pointing to websites in my industry. My question is this: what is the best practice here? Should I add nofollow tags to the links? Should I do something else to indicate that these links shouldn't be crawled? Frankly, I don't mind passing some link juice to these tools (in this case, and from this particular website), but I might make a different decision with a client's website. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Here is the page I'm referring to, in case anyone wants to look: http://willmarlow.com/resources-2/the-digital-marketing-toolbox/. Thanks!

The page did not load. Got a 410 response code from server If I try the same search and keyword phrase on other sites, it does work. Am I doing something wrong?
