Error in Duplicate Content Being Reported - Pages Aren't Actually Duplicates

The recent crawl of one of our sites revealed a high number of duplicate content issues. However, when I viewed the report for pages with duplicate content I noticed almost all of them are not duplicates.
For example, these two pages are marked as dupes:
https://www.writersstore.com/publishers/hollywood-creative-directory
https://www.writersstore.com/authors/g-miki-haydenThese are thin as far as content goes but definitely not duplicates. Any recommendations or ways to adjust the settings so that these false positives aren't clogging up our site crawl report?

Hi,
Moz is reporting these as duplicates because more than 90% of the source code is a match. The body content doesn't have enough differentiation to qualify them as unique pages.
Even if you could, you don't want to tell Moz to ignore things like this, because these types of duplications (or near dupes) are exactly why you're paying for Moz
Being notified of issues like this gives you items to take action on and improve your overall site visibility.

After exporting Top pages list in Moz Pro, I noticed lots of pages with high PA (page authority) are actually random images (.png & .jpg) and documents (.pdf). Question 1: Should I make a redirect 301 from an image/document to the actual webpage? If not, what should I do to keep the ranking, but point the URL to the correct place? In addition, lots of highly ranking URLs are actually outdated. They are coming from the old website. I switched to the new one more than a year ago. Moz says "Title Too Long", Yoast says title is the perfect length. Who's right?
For a bunch of my pages, the MOZ Crawl Report says "Title Too Long". Yoast on my site tells me that the titles are the correct length. How can these two things be at odds with each other? Which one is right?

How do I pull a rankings report for a specific week in the past?
The date of the rankings I want is January 13th. I can see the individual keyword history in rank tracker, but I have to go each word. I'd like to just have that report to compare it to, since that is when a lot of our rankings changed. So I need that report to compare our future efforts with. Please advise and thank you! Ruben

Suggestion for Improving the Crawl Report on Canonicals
This came up in the answer to a question I gave here http://moz.com/community/q/canonicals-in-crawling-reports#reply_222623 Wanted to post here to put it in as a suggestion on how to improve the Moz Crawl reports Currently, the report shows FALSE if there is no canonical link on a page and TRUE if there is. IF you get a TRUE response, this shows up as a warning in your report. I currently use Canonical to Self on almost all my pages to help with some indexing issues. I currently use the EXACT function in excel to create a formula to see if my canonical link matches the URL of the page (as this is what I want it to do). I can then know that the canonical is implemented properly, or if I need to manually check pages to make sure the canonical that points to another page is correct. I would like to suggest that the Moz crawl tool does this. It can show FALSE is the canonical is missing, TRUE if the canonical is present and SELF if the canonical points to the URL of the page it is on. I think for the most part this would be much more actionable information. I would even suggest that TRUE would need to be more of a high priority alert, and SELF can't do any damage, so I would leave that info in the CSV but not have that as a warning in the web interface. Error for a page that doesn't exist.
Hi, I'm just trailing this service, and I have a couple of questions that I hope someone can help with. 1. I am getting a high priority error regarding a page not being able to be crawled - a 4XX error. Problem is, there is no such page in existence. The URL is my site/comments/feed It's driving me crazy. 2. I'm also getting errors based on missing meta tags in blog posts. I am adding tags at the time of posting, so I am unsure why these errors are showing up. Actually, I didn't add tags to all posts - but there are errors on ALL posts, even those I added tags to. Any help would be wonderful. Thanks!!! Hugh

Inconsistent On-Page Grader results
Hello everyone! I am fairly new to the MOZ tools but I'm finding some inconsistencies in the On-Page grader.. I have tested several pages (some of which I know have doos and bad SEO) and the results I keep getting are very volatile. For example, I have looked at testing http://www.sportingwebdesign.com for "Sports Website Design" - one minute it gave me a grade F, then then 2 minutes after I refresh the page and it gave me a grade A.. I am very confused and a bit worried that this tool may be a bit volatile... Anyone have any thoughts?
