Hi friends,
I am building backlinks with the url https://abc.com
Does it make any difference to rankings if I do not build links with https://www.abc.com? If yes how should I redirect all links built with https://abc.com to https://www.abc.com?
I am feeling that Google is not indexing links in webmaster due to this.
please suggest.

Use below code (Ignore previous one that will work for http only)
<code># Redirect to www RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^[^.]+\.[^.]+$ RewriteCond %{HTTPS}s ^on(s)| RewriteRule ^ http%1://www.%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]</code>
*It will support https and http both
Thanks

It is a great help. I will surely meticulously put this code without letting know anything else in this file. Can you clear my doubt if this code will apply to all urls such as inner pages I am building links with?
thank again.

Its bit confusing because in Google search console you can set only one version as preferred version and you must use only one version for seo.
- Add the following code into the .htaccess file. Be sure to substitute “example.com” with your own website information but touch nothing else.
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^example.com
RewriteRule (.*) http://www.example.com/$1 [R=301,L]
Thanks

Dear Alick300,
Thank you for the response. Preferred version are both. But as you said it should be one, is it mandatory to verify through webmaster as I have already done it with www.
How can I redirect links from https://abc.com to https://www.abc.com?
Kindly share.

Hi Kate,
Which version are preferred version of your site www or without www? if without www link backlinks must be with url https://abc.com and if www use https://www.abc.com
Also, be sure to go into webmaster tools and verify both the www and non www versions of your site, then select the preferred version
It needs to redirect in the case if preferred version is www and you are building link without www.
Hope this helps.
Thanks

Opinions On Resource-Page Linkbuilding
Hi, I'm just looking to get some opinions on resource-page linkbuilding. These are links you would gain from sites when you use the following type of search operators: "keyword" + inurl:links
Link Building | | Tomwindham
"keyword" + inurl:resources
"keyword" + "helpful links"
... and so on... What do you think Google's thoughts on this subject would be when a large portion of the pages returned are long lists of links - usually these will be the title of the page linked to as well as either a bare link or an anchor text link. In some instances a short description of the page linked to would also be there. Are these long-term links that will continue to be relevant and worth spending time on for linkbuilding, or are these going to be see by Google as lower-quality links and potentially unnatural ? For example, Google's page on link schemes states; "Low-quality directory or bookmark site links" may violate their guidelines. Do you think that in some cases, resource pages may be seen as somewhat fitting this description? Thanks! [Edit] I have also found this comment from a Moz post 4 years ago, but cannot find any other reference to John commenting on resource pages: "A while back, someone asked John Mueller in a hangout about the benefits of getting a link on an outdated resource page and the answer was that if it is a link that never gets clicked on then it's probably not passing a lot of value."1 -
When pitching a whitepaper as Push Content for Link Building, is it ok to give the person I'm pitching a link to a landing page with a form on it?
When pitching a whitepaper as Push Content for Link Building (i.e. pushing out content that my client has created), is it ok to give the person I'm pitching a link to a landing page with a form on it? Or should I create a landing page with the whitepaper included on it? I’m not sure if the client will be ok with this b/c I know they use the whitepaper for sales purposes to gain leads. For example, my pitch email would include a line such as this, "the whitepaper can be found at LINK and I'd love if you could share it with your readers." I think it may be weird/a little wrong to ask a webmaster to include a link on his site to a landing page with a form to get the whitepaper. Does this make sense? What have others done with whitepapers as Push Content for link building?

Anyone have any opinions with Rank Logix SEO Company
I am thinking of going with them for a back linking strategy. Wanted to know if anyone has any experience with them and what they thought.

Dripable.com and dripfeed.com. I really see no value whatsoever in any service like this. If anyone has an opinion that differs from mine. Go ahead.
I cant believe people are still using services like this. The interesting thing is that they do seem to offer great customer service, but that "service" seems to only spin comment spam and back profile backlinks. Id love for our community to discuss more sites like this so that Junior SEO's or people just starting dong get wooed by the promise of AWESOME links. Cheers,

How many follow ups before giving up?
What are your thoughts about the contacting process itself. I am targeting sites in relevant industries, with domain authority over 50, asking to be added to resources or comparison pages 1-How long do you wait before sending a second/reminder email? 2-Do you have a template for follow up emails? "Hi, I contacted you a week ago about...." 3-If domain authority is decent (50-60), how many times do you follow up before giving up?
