Hi Roadmedia
More like a large site with many out-links and very few backlinks and skinny content.
Build the site up and scale high-quality content with fewer external links. It's not so much about lack of renewed content or internal links although they are important they won't lead to a high spam score.
Regards
Nigel

How Much Time It Will Take To Lower the Spam Score?
I'm facing an issue with my website. Due to little to no knowledge about link building and backlink, i created backlinks without checking the quality and spam score of the sites. Now there are many sites linking to my website but the overall spam score is very high of my website and my domain is reviewheart.com that i'm talking about. I have created a list and disavowed all he poor linking domains but still no improvement shown. Can anyone have the idea how much time moz will take to show the updated spam score as i have disavowed all the low quality spammed linking site?

The factors considered in the new domain authority algorithm? On-site factors we can use to compare with competitors? Is having an NA as a spam score a bad thing?
Does anyone know the factors considered in the new domain authority algorithm other than spam score and complex distributions of links based on quality and traffic? Does anyone know of on-site factors we can use to compare with competitors to try and improve DA? Is having an NA as a spam score a bad thing?

Spam Score Help Needed!
Hi guys, Basically, long story short our site currently has a spam score of 5%, which is heading into dangerous territory. We have been looking into why this might be and the more we've looked into it the more stumped we've become. We compared our inbound links to our competitors, who's spam score currently stands at just 1%, and found that we actually had a smaller proportion of spammy inbound links compared to theirs - and yet our score is 5x higher. We have looked into disavowal, but this seems like a high-risk venture and something of a last resort so we'd rather see if there's anything else we can do about this before we press the button. Are there any other factors we need to look in to aside from inbound links and domains? Could it be something to do with our site architecture? For example we have a very high number of internal links (102,011, 94.1% are followed) compared to our competitors. This could qualify us as a 'large' site, and when paired with the fact that we only have 640 inbound links could be a big red flag to Google? Any help you'd be willing to provide us on this would be much appreciated!

What does it mean when Moz KW explorer returns a negative keyword difficulty score (eg -2)?
I recently did a keyowrd difficulty lookup in Moz keyword explorer as usual and for the first time a saw several (out of 100s) of negative keyowrd scores (generally -2). Is this a bug, what does it mean?

Keywords Score Meter
Hi Moz, I am using the keywords difficulty tool from your site and find it is quite useful 🙂 I research the community and find the data should be interpreted in the following way. But when I did a quick research for one keyword. The tool bar gives me a data of 22% showing in Yellow and says the keyword is competitive when I hover my mouse. Should this be **Blue **and easy to rank keyword based on the score? Which one should I believe? Sub 30 - (Blue) Low hanging fruit you can take advantage of. 30 - 35 (Green) Fairly easy with good on page and some quality anchored links. 35 - 40 - (Yellow) Will take a bit more work but still in reach may require, good on-site SEO and a solid link profile. 40 - 50 (Orange) Domain authority plays a much more pivotal role so it may take longer to rank for. 50+ (Red) All about resources. Onsite SEO needs to be totally nailed, including internal linking/ topic modelling etc. a strong & diverse link profile with good social signals and ... time. Thanks in advance. How is Moz's DA score so high?
Obviously they make the tool that measures this, but is their own score inflated because of this? I know DA isn't strictly a measure of popularity, but Moz's own score seems a little _too _high compared to some other sites... 92 - Moz.com 90 - Salesforce.com 87 - Airbnb.com 84 - Priceline.com 83 - Squarespace.com Can someone shed some light on how DA is actually measured?

The Moz Spam Score tells me my site has too few backlinks for such a large site. How many links per page would I need to not trigger this filter and stop appearing spammy?
Hello! One of my sites is triggering the 'too few backlinks for large site' filter. I am wondering how many backlinks I need so as not to trigger this. Many thanks for your help. Toby

Domain Authority Score Changes
Hi All, I hope you guys are doing great. I need assistance with benchmarking drop that measures domain authority score changes, maybe within 3 months to a year. Is there any reliable tool that we can use for us to see the changes in DA over the past months or years? Thanks, Francis
