How do you find popular blog topics (methodology) to rank in Google (organically)
-
Hi guys
Do you guys have any advice and experience into how to find very popular blog topics? The purpose is to be able to rank them organically in Google.
If you could share your methodology I would be really thankful as well if possible.
Cheers
John

You can try this out:
-
Define your main keywords
-
Run them on https://answerthepublic.com/ to see all kinds of questions being asked around those main keywords. A lot of these questions can be good Blog topics.
-
Take the output of that and run it in Google Ads Keyword Planner in your target country/region to see how much search volume (demand) exists for the topics/questions
-
Run a manual search to see what's showing up for these topics/questions
-
Write the blogs based on all the above, publish it,and then start promoting it
You can also try out Quora and see what questions are being asked about a specific topic, and repeat the above process starting from research in Google Adwords.
Hope that helps!

Page Ranking by URL / Keyword
Needing to know how to find out the page rank of a URL that is NOT within the top 50 or top 100. Need to know that specific page's rank, not what our overall site's ranking for the keyword is. Can't seem to find any tool that goes beyond the top 100. Any ideas?

Rank Checker Tool
I have more than 25 keywords ranked in the top 30 for various sites and some of these keywords were inputted a couple weeks ago. However, only one of them has shown a position change. Is there something wrong with the software? It says the next rankings update is April 7th. When was the last rank update?

Google Analytic Caching Issue?
Two weeks ago, I started testing a campaign and linked it to my Google analytics account. At the time there were 4 domains linked to the GA account. And I could see all 4 domains at the drop down menu that asked me to choose one to connect to. One week ago, I added a 5 more domains to GA. When I log directly into GA, I see the total of all 9 domains, and all are verified and collecting data. Today at pro seomoz I started a new campaign, for one of the new domains recently added to GA. When I try to connect the campaign to GA, only the ORIGINAL 4 domains are visible on the drop down menu. None of the 5 new domains are visible. So I am unable to connect to the new domain. At campaign settings, I disconnected from GA, and connected again, but could not see the new domains on the drop down menu. I tried to use both FF and IE. I can only assume that this is a caching issue at pro.seomoz. If so, how to flush cache and get current again. Please advise

Integration of Google+, LinkedIn, YouTube?
I ran across a blog on Moz from last November that was introducing the social monitoring feature. It mentioned adding new social platforms that would eventually be included in SEOMoz. Any word on when/if that is happening? Excited to have SEO and Social under the same dashboard! Jake

SEOMoz ranking reports inaccurate for Google?
So I have notice that, at least for some searches, the rankings shown in SEOMoz's ranking reports are meaningless. I assume this is due to blended search results including local search. For example, I have a client, who is ranked 3rd overall for one of his most important search terms, but his ranking is based upon his local result (there are 2 organic search results and then he is the first local result). The SEOMoz report shows him being ranked 12th. Anyway I count down to the 12th ranked site (including local search, not including local search) his site is not there. In fact the only place it is in the top 3 pages is in the local result. As a local marketing consultant, almost all of my clients are looking to be found for "Jackson Hole" this or that, or "Jackson, WY" this or that, so this is a pretty critical issue to me. I would appreciate feedback. Thanks!
