How do I see all links to my site in Web Explore?
-
It appears that the Web Explore looks for exact matches to a page. I'd like to see all matches to any page. Will regular expressions work?

Hi there,
This is Peter over at SEOmoz - thanks for writing in and sorry for the confusion there! It looks like the number that you're looking at in the Web App Competitive Domain Analysis tab is the total amount of links to the entire subdomain, but the number you're looking at in Open Site Explorer is the total amount of links to that page only. Sorry about the ambiguity there! The numbers at the top of OSE all pertain solely to that URL rather than to the whole subdomain or root domain, but you can get information about the whole subdomain or root domain by going here (as an example): http://www.opensiteexplorer.org/www.seomoz.org/a!metrics. Here's a screenshot of the numbers: http://markup.io/v/djd8djeptg5n. You can also look at all the links going to the sub/root domain by changing the filters in the "Linking Pages" tab.

You can see all links to your site using open site explorer
When you have typed in your domain name you can filter what is shows you on the inbound tab. The Third dropdown allows you to see which pages have been linked to and by whom (and you can set to external, internal, dofollow etc).
Hope that helps.

Missing Juicy link finder
Hello, In the past, I was using two tools mainly: Keyword difficulty and the Juicy link finder. Buit Juicy Link Finder does not exist anymore and I miss it 😞 Any of you are missing it also? Do any of you who were using that tool have found a new tool to do the same good job than what Juicy Link Finder was doing? Thanks Nancy

No follow Internal Links
Hello, I am comparing my site with my competitors. According to Open Site Explorer, my site has 541 internal follow links, and a total of 1,286 total internal links, implying I have 745 no follow internal links. I tried to drill into these internal no follow links using the "Inbound Links" report in OSE. But I'm receiving an error stating that No Data is Available for this URL. Does anyone have any insight to this? I'd really like to understand where those no follow links are coming from. Thanks in advance. eh70

What are no followed links?
Hi there, probably this is so self explaining that I didn't find it described in the tutorial about learning to use PRO or here in Q&Α. But remember, there is no dumb question 🙂 What are the followed vs no followed links? I understand followed links as backlinks to my site, but what is a no followed link? Thank you in advance!

How accurate is Open Site Explorer?
I noticed for one of my sites, a large number of links do not show up in Open Site Explorer, including some of my stronger links. That being the case, how much weight can I put on using these tools to compare sites? I'm not trying to bash here, I really like the tools but if my PA is 29 and my competition is 34, how much weight can I put on these numbers? Or if it says my site has 50 links from 25 domains and my competition has 60 links from 30 domains, these numbers obviously aren't very accurate? So how much weight can I put on these comparisons? Are there better tools?

How do you track links over time?
I'm new to SEOmoz and I'm really enjoying the fact that I can track all my keywords in a single place and monitor the changes. Is there a way to do the same with no my links? I mean: I'm using Open Site Explorar to track my links, but I want to know my link building performance overtime. Is there a way to do this automatically with SEOmoz? In case of a negative answer, how do you track your links over time? Thanks in advance!

How long does it take Open Site Explorer to register my backlinks?
I have been using Open Site Explorer for the following website http://www.doorhandlesltd.co.uk/ I have been link building for serveral months now and added over 100 links including directories such as business.com yet when I run the Open Site Explorer report it says I only have 10 root domain links.......the ones that were there before I started my link building. Any ideas on why this might be? Or does Open Site Explorer take a certain amount of time to collect this data? If so does anybody know how long this takes? Thanks
