I bought a domain name https://ez1.in and it has a high MOZ spam score. Although it is because of the previous webmaster who used this domain as a URL shortening website. But now I am using it as a service delivery website.
I wanted to know once a domain is deleted and ready to resell MOZ doesn't update its Spam score? Or it has periodic updates that are scheduled? How does the whole process work?

Hi there,
Spam score is determined by a separate crawler than the crawler that powers Link Explorer and updates roughly once a month. Unfortunately, even if a domain is ready to be resold, it is never fully "deleted" meaning the spam score would carry over.
To improve this score I would recommend reading our guide which explains the 27 factors used to make up this score. You can then look at your site and investigate areas you would like to improve on your site:

Crawler triggering Spam Throttle and creating 4xx errors
Hey Folks, We have a client with an experience I want to ask about. The Moz crawler is showing 4xx errors. These are happening because the crawler is triggering my client's spam throttling. They could increase from 240 to 480 page loads per minute but this could open the door for spam as well. Any thoughts on how to proceed? Thanks! Kirk

Why are Internal, nofollowed links good for Domain Authority?
I always thought that internal links should be 'followed' to preserve link-juice.
Moz Bar | | BottleGreenWebsites
I've just been checking my Domain Authority Links overview, and the competitor with the most no-follow internal links has been rewarded with a higher Moz DA score.
Can anyone explain why this would be the case? JRJ4Dwn1 -
Will Removing or Disavowing Toxic Links Improve MOZ Domain Authority?
The vast majority of the 140 domains that link to our website are very low quality directories or and other toxic links. Only about 20-30 domains are not toxic (according to Link Research Tools confirmed by out manual inspection of these links). Would removing some of these links improve of MOZ Domain Rank? What if we cannot remove them, can NOZ detect a disavow file? In general would improving the ratio between good quality and poor quality links improve domain authority? Thanks,

Keyword explorer tool - keywords by domain functionality
Hi, We have issues with the new searching for keywords by root domain functionality in keyword explorer. We are based in Australia and need rankings for google.com.au, which is what we have set up within our MOZ campaign ranking reports. The explorer tool rankings are way off and not accurate for our site's actual rankings. Also, many of the top, high volume keywords that we are tracking and for which we rank on first page for are not even appearing when I do an explorer search using our root domain. Is the root domain functionality within keyword explorer providing results based on google.com rather than google.com.au? Does this mean that if we are outside the US that we can't use the tool as it is not accurate? Cheers, Damien

Moz Keyword Tool Monthly Volume
Ive recently put together a Keyword List of about 100 keywords on the Moz Keyword Explorer tool. One keyword, aerial filming, stood out as very low search volume of 51 - 100. I took the same 100 keywords and passed them through the Google Keyword Planner by Google AdWords. Aerial Filming has an average search volume of 1k - 10k according to the Keyword Planner. Even though Keyword Planner gives me a range of 1k - 10k, the lowest number is still 10 times higher than what the Moz Keyword Explorer was indicating. This drastic difference of volume was consistent across all 100 keywords. All of the Monthly Volume numbers were divided by 10. Why does Moz Keyword Tool display a search volume that is 10x less than what Google Keyword Planner is suggesting?
