I use Moz Local to sync my Endocrinology medical clinic website to search engines and directories and it has helped me a lot. However, I want to start a blog that deep dives into Endocrine based issues like diseases and conditions. The issue is I am not sure if I should just add the blog to my Endocrinology Medical Clinic website or Start the blog off on a completely new domain because one day I might want to sell my Endocrinology Medical Clinic but keep my Endocrine based blog. What do you suggest? Also do any of your services help submit blogs without a physical address to search engines and directories like Moz Local?

@viewpoint-endocrinology Great question! If you decide to build your blog on the website of your medical practice website, it could significantly help with the breadth of your medical practice's rankings at present. If this is your primary goal, then this is the way to go. However, if you feel the sale of your practice is a sure thing in the near future, and your larger goal is to make plans for that future day, I'd advocate building the blog separately and beginning to work on its branding in advance of the day you sell the practice. Moz Local can help you microblog via Google Posts and Facebook posts, but does not currently distribute full blog posts to a network. Good luck to you!

Hello, Can someone tell me please why are the links to a site's blog not displayed prominently? Why are they hidden away in the footer? Wouldn't making the link to the blog more visible increase traffic?

Should corporate blog sit outside a corporate website?
Hi guys (& gals) We are in the midst of revamping our own agency website and i used to have blog site that talks about agency's thoughts and elaboration on process etc. I personally feel it could be better to consolidate these content into my agency's url since it will create better relevances and thus improve my DA. Appreciate if i have some feedback if my thoughts are on the right track with the community? J

How long should a quality blog post be?
How long should a "quality" blog post be? General advice seems to be that a 300 word post just won't cut it, but advice on the optimum length is vague. I appreciate that all posts are different but is there a rule of thumb, is 1000 words good and 1500 too long...or should they are all aim to be 2000 words? Also with regards to pictures in blogs, can they just be taken from the web or are there sites that I should be using to source the pictures? Thanks

Second Blog on the Same Site? Best SEO Practice
I would like to start up another blog which has more of a "technical" topic coverage vs my regular blog, which appeals more to non-techie business folks. If the goal is to drive traffic ultimately to the main site, should I do this second blog on a different domain, a subdomain, or try to incorporate it as a separate-but-equal blog on the same domain as the currrent one? What would you do?

Duplicating Articles/Blogs
Two years ago, some articles and blogs were written and submitted to certain tech and news sites relevant to our field. Will it be fine to submit those to other sites now. It is our content only and not some one else, but would it be penalty to submit the copy to other article sites whereever those articles/content are relevant today also?
