Keyword List stuck on "Gathering Metrics"
-
Hello!
I set up a keyword list over a week ago and the majority of the keywords still say "Gathering Metrics." Any advice on how to get this data to populate?
Thanks!

"I'm experiencing an issue with my Keyword List being stuck on 'Gathering Metrics' for my application-related site. Has anyone encountered a similar situation with app-focused sites, and if so, what steps did you take to address this? I'm eager to optimize my keyword analysis specifically for applications. Your insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!"

Thanks! To get keyword metrics for your list to populate, try:
Using the latest version of the tool
Removing any irrelevant keywords
Breaking down your list into smaller lists
Contacting the tool's support team -
This is complete BS: Now 5 from 12 keyword lists are stuck on "gathering metrics". That's almost half of all keywords. It's been a few days now and still nothing.
This makes the keyword tool unusable. I have to reupload the lists so many times hoping they will populate. Sometimes this helps and one of them shows data but this way I lose time and just end up burning through my keyword allowance for the month.

I have this issue too. I've uploaded the keywords three different times hoping that one of the would go through. But no luck so far. It's frustrating since this is eating up my monthly keyword allowance without giving me data.

@mollykathariner_ms Hi there! Thank you so much for your post! And so sorry to hear you're having trouble getting that data to populate. Would you please send an email over to help@moz.com with the name of the keyword list? That way our Help Team can take a look and see what's going on.
Thank you so much!
Meghan

Unsolved On page grader
All of my keywords score a 53 using the on page grader. When I look at the notes it indicates I don't have the keyword in question anywhere on the page which, while true in some cases, is not always factual. Does anyone have a similar experience?

Separate service page for each key-word we're ranking in
Hello guys, I have a service-based website. Right now, I have around 30 commercial pages for different services, that we offer. I came up with idea to add service page for each keyword we're ranking in. For example, we offer home-construction service and we have 1 commercial page for this service. I will create 10-20 pages for keywords, related to home-construction services.

For example: bricklaying, Fundamental works, Landscape works, Concrete works, etc. I saw similar approach on this website. It's a link on bricklaying page: https://kiev.kabanchik.ua/ua/category/kladka-kirpicha If you scroll down you will see section with keywords, related to bricklaying and each keyword has separate page with duplicate content. My questions are: Do you know the name of this SEO tactic, so I can google more information about it? Do you think that it's good idea to use similar approach in order to improve your rankings for certain keywords? Is it a dangerous SEO tactic that may cause some penalties for your website or it's completely safe? Thank you for helping, guys! 331ea1ea-1d49-4f6c-89ef-510ef4657fa4-image.png c5999dbb-6dfb-4fbe-b3e8-ab9a0943bd88-image.png0 -
Should we remove a keyword from the base URL?
We have a client that we are rebuilding their website and they are thinking about dropping one word from the current base URL. That particular word is one of the keywords we are trying to rank for. Do you think that because one of our keywords is in the current domain name that it would be a mistake to change it to just the brand name without the extra keyword added on?

Unsolved Updating labels via CSV upload
Hi, I'd like to update all my keyword labels in one go and I thought it would be easier to do this via a csv upload) however, when I try to upload the keyword file with all my existing keywords and the labels, it says I can't due to me reaching my keyword limit.

What do broad match keywords represent?
Exact match is perfectly easy for me to get my head around - broad match, not so much! Take the phrase, "removing blueberry stains." Is the broad match data for this that I'm seeing in the Google keyword tool for searches that involve any of these particular words, in any phrase, in any order - just so long as they're all there? Any help with this concept would be much appreciated.

Most Important Keyword Term
Question about a sites most important keyword term. So lets say you have a website and your most important keyword term is "Blue Widgets", you also have a page named "blue-widgets.htm". What do we do with our index page in this instance? Especially for the title tag? Should I put "Blue Widgets" in the title tags of both pages? I'm guessing this would be a duplicate meta tag error? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
