Looking for a Search Tool to Help with Finding Potential Networking Opportunities.
-
I am looking for a more effective way to network with similar websites to mine in order to try and do some guest posting or networking and I was wondering if anyone had some good tools for locating those potential sites? Thanks.

You can use Twitter + FollowerWonk or Google (the search engine) + custom queries.
You can type things like these on Google to find potential guest posting opportunities:
"keyword" + "guest post"
"keyword" + "write for us"
"keyword" + "submit your post"
etc.You might be interested: http://findmyblogway.com/finding-guest-post-opportunities/ (discusses about some unique ways)

I have not found a great many services that can help network people in the manner your looking for and have often thought about it being a good business idea.
However, I find twitter to still be one of the most powerful, the people that matter are on there you are able to search for them and you are able to contact them and once you find one Twitter does a great job in recommending others. On a website you just have a contact form or a phone number that takes you to a call handler/receptionist most of the time which can be like hitting a brick wall.
I do not feel that enough people are using LinkedIn for that purpose to make it as effective but it is also worth a try.
But I am not aware of some independent OTHER service that is out there connecting people by industry.

Do links like this really help for SEO?
I was doing research with Moz's Link Explorer and one of our competitors had almost 50 links coming from sites like this. Mostly nofollow but we all know that today the nofollow can still help. My question is this: Will links like these help in any shape or matter. The reason I am asking is because Link Explorer is finding them, so I am sure Google will find them as well. Examples of sites: http://www.microlinkinc.com, http://www.cmolink.com The sites that I found via analyzing had DA 35-40 I don't want to share all urls but you get the point. Basically these sites are free keyword analyzing sites, once you put in a keyword they will bring up to 20 sites that rank for that keyword. And my research suggests that these pages stay and are crawl-able since Moz has crawled them. For example Moz says: date first seen 09/12/2018 so almost 6 months has passed but that result that was searched I am assuming has stayed. Would it make sense to search on such sites keywords that you know you are ranking for and then your site would be listed below and stay there for Google to crawl and another nofollow link in our link basket. Is my thinking correct or is it waste of time. Frankly it would take 2sec to run a search for each keyword. Any feedback and thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Davit

Rankings Drop Across Search Engines
Hello! I know this may sound a bit weird, but has anyone experienced any search engine rankings drop after Penguin on Bing and Yahoo as well? I am trying to locate the issue with one website I am doing optimization on and it has ranked lower on some keywords on all three search engines, directing me to suspect there's an issue with the site itself. Thanks!

Looking at Page Authority of a link to our website... what Page Authority number should we use in deciding the link is junk?
What are the Page Authority ranges? 1. Excellent link 2. Moderate 3. Total junk link Of course you look at the anchor text you can use, how many links are on the site, how often it is cached. Thoughts?

Will removing old (3 years+), low quality inbound links potentially improve my rankings?
I have a client site with thousands of old very low quality links purchased from directories etc over several years - I am certain these are doing nothing for the current rankings and I advised them to stop buying these links 18 months ago when I first started working with them, but do you think pro-actively getting old poor quality backlinks removed will potentially improve the site's rankings?
