Is this over optimization??
-
I have blog website – packforcity.com, all articles were having almost same title tags (as need of the website) I only change the city name for example
What to Wear in Miami in February
What To Wear In Dubai In February
What To Wear In Budapest In February
What to Wear in Beijing in February
What to Wear in Los Angeles in January
What to Wear in Miami in January
What to Wear in Las Vegas in January
Is this over optimization??
Before December, My all keywords were ranked on the first page and my old articles still ranked, but my January and February articles (newly posted articles) were ranked No where in Google. Has my website hit by google?
-
It could even be as simple as greater competition among sites that are relevant to the same search queries your pages are relevant to. Be sure to examine the top sites showing in the results for your target search queries and see what's working for them.
-
Google still index my pages, but any new article I post will not appear in top results ( not in top 3 pages) and same case in bing also. But still my old pages were ranked on top. What other issue might be?
-
I can't say that for sure. I only looked over your content and there may be other issues--or there may be no actual SERP issues at all, other than Google's just slow to index your pages. As I'm sure you're aware, there are actually a lot of other things to take into account when dealing with your seo.
-
Hi Chris,
Thanks for explaining the issue in details.
Means I need to change the Style of the article, It is not good to use the same style. If I do so, Is my website is back in search engines.?

Varun,
I wouldn't call it over optimization, but perhaps, your title tags combined with your content may be a cause. Even if it's not, heeding the following will be helpful to you in the long run.
Yes, it appears that each post is unique and maybe even somewhat "researched", but the combined vocabulary on all of your pages is very homogeneous. As you get more and more of content on your site that fits pretty much the same templated paragraph headings, the overall feel of the words in those paragraphs is that they're all the same, just in different order and different amounts. For the most part your pages contain the same weather, gender, clothing vocabulary. It's the kind of content I call "fluffy"--a lot of words but not really a lot of meaning.
To get a sense of what I mean, lift three or four sentences at random from three or four pages on your site and put them together and see if they form a paragraph of about the same quality as an average paragraph on your site. My feeling is that the more content like this you put on your site, the more it looks like "spun" content and that might be tripping a filter.
I would suggest that each page for each city also contain mention of 3-4 local landmarks, a few local boutique names, 2 or 3 local street names, and a couple of activities, events, the name of the primary mass transportation system, and/or personalities that make that city unique. Going to foursquare and selecting "outdoors" or "sites" as your "I'm searching for" criteria can help your writer with with a starting place for some of these things.
The more you incorporate this additional dimension into your copy, the more effective it will be at converting your clients and the less you'll have to worry about discounting its quality.

I am not using the same content and only use exact keyword once in the title tag, description, H1 tag and in the article body. But Keywords on the website were same like What to wear in ....... Is this a problem. ??

Hello,
I think you want to ask if it is Duplicate title/Content rather over-optimisation since you are mentioning "articles"?
Over-optimisation is when you have used your targeted keyword more than it should.
If what I suspect is the case, then it will come down to the content. if for example the content is the same and all you change is the location and you could probably deal with some duplicate content issues.

Help with structure for optimizing Photography Website SEO
Hey guys , I am building a photography website and currently I have it setup the following way for my image galleries : https://ricfrancophotography.com/portfolio/norway-landscape-photography/#!gallery6618-6577 This provides me with an individual link for each of the images in my photography gallery but as a gallery these have obviously no content and I figured the best way would be to add the images I want to work my SEO for to individual blog posts . So here is what I did so far : - Added a link to the caption of each image inside the lightbox that is linking to the individual blog post - In order to not break the navigation I made the post with the content for each image open in a modal popup (it changes the link in the top bar but once closed it goes back to the gallery) . - I made the image inside the post link back to the fullsize image in the lightbox gallery when clicked instead of linking to the .jpg in wp-content/uploads. Now, I have some questions regarding whether this is a good practice in terms of SEO and if the fact of having duplicate images or this structure is going to hurt my SEO any way . Although both images are in different urls they ultimately link to each other this way : Blog Image --> Gallery Image url --> wp-content/uploads/file.jpg Is there a better approach for this ? Thanks

How do I optimize dynamic content for SEO?
Hello, folks! I'm wondering how I optimize a site if it is built on a platform that works based on dynamic content. For example, the page pulls in certain information based on the information it has about the user. Not every user will see the same page. Thanks!

Optimizing for Branded and Unbranded terms - ecommerce
Hi, To date, we have gone with optimizing our website for branded search terms - we have done this by including the manufacturer + product name in the links to the product, product urls, page titles, h1's etc... Now, we are looking at optimising also for non branded terms - but all of our products are already optimized as above and I'm a bit lost as to how we would proceed with this process - my thoughts are: Create the generic categories, e.g, "Decorative Mirrors" But then, if they link through to the existing mirrors which are optimised for branded search, how do I go about it? Do I create a duplicate of the product and remove all the branded terms in the page title, h1, url and create new content for it? E.g., the same product but available twice... Doesnt seem logical from a user perspective but I cant think of another way to do this?? Thank you

Client site is lacking content. Can we still optimize without it?
We just signed a new client whose site is really lacking in terms of content. Our plan is to add content to the site in order to achieve some solid on-page optimization. Unfortunately the site design makes adding content very difficult! Does anyone see where we may be going wrong? Is added content really the only way to go? http://empathicrecovery.com/

On-Site Optimization Tips for Job site?
I am working on a job site that only ranks well for the homepage with very low ranking internal pages. My job pages do not rank what so ever and are database driven and often times turn to 404 pages after the job has been filled. The job pages have to no content either. Anybody have any technical on-site recommendations for a job site I am working on especially regarding my internal pages? (Cross Country Allied.com)

Canonical and optimization
Hi, I was thinking: If I had 4 pages, each of them optimized for an especific keyword, but set a canonical url to another page, would this another page rank for the 5 specific keywords? Ex: Page 1- Shoes
Intermediate & Advanced SEO | | PedroVillalobos
Page 2- Snickers
Page 3- Socks
Page 4- Feet
All set the canonical url to Page 5 Page 5 will rank for all this four keywords?0
