How to solve duplicate content issue???
-
I have 5 websites with different domain names, every website have same content, same pages, same website design.
Kindly let me know how to solve this issue.

You have 5 identical sites but you want to solve the duplicate problem? Then change each site and their content?
-
I'd be interested to know your reasons for having five sites with the same content. If it's a case of trying to target each of the sites regionally then it may be worth considering implementation of hreflang in which you are able to specify to Google which version of each page is intended for a specific location. Alternatively, you may wish to make use of canonical tags to identify your primary pages to search engines and prevent the duplication headache. Clearly more info here would help us give you the assistance you are after.

What's the reason why you have 5 identical sites? Is the strategy of having 5 sites helping to achieve your on-line/business goals?
How are these sites performing?
As well as creating a duplicate content problem, you'll also be splitting any inbound links across these five sites.
You may be better off with just the one site and 301 redirect any inbound links to the other sites to your "main" site. That way you can consolidate any links onto one site. Assuming you've got some good links to some of these other sites it may increase the authority of whatever site you chose to be your "main" site and improve its visibility in search.

Hey Varun,
As far as
- Web Design
- Web Pages
are concerned, no real issues.
- Same content. This is absolute disaster. You need to rewrite content for websites. Make it unique for each one. You can use this: copyscape.com. Learn more about it: http://moz.com/learn/seo/duplicate-content
- Use different Meta Tags for each website as well
I hope, this helps!
Regards

Unsolved Duplicate Contents in Order Pages of Multiple Products
Hi, I have a website containing 30 software products. Each product has an order page. The problem is that the layout and content of these 30 order pages are very similar, except for the product name, for example: https://www.datanumen.com/access-repair-order/

https://www.datanumen.com/word-repair-order/ Siteliner has reports these pages as duplicate contents. I am thinking of noindex these pages. However, in such a case, if a user search for "DataNumen Outlook Repair order page", then he will not be able to see the order page of our product, which drives the revenue go away. So, how to deal with such a case? Thank you.1 -
How to explain to a client that duplicate content is bad...
Afternoon! An SEO client of ours has copied a load of landing/category page content from other sites. Lots of emails have been sent back and forth asking them to remove it, but they are adamant to keep it up there until we have time to amend it. We have explained to them: The Google penalty risks The copyright risks The short and long-term implications for their brand new business/website The money they are spending on our SEO package could be completely wasted if they're caught I think the above is pretty black and white, but the director of this company will not budge. Does anyone have any different approaches? The director said he's happy for us to amend the content but, in the meantime, the plagiarised content will not be removed. Cheers, Lewis

Duplicate Content - Deleting Pages
The Penguin update in April 2012 caused my website to lose about 70% of its traffic overnight and as a consequence, the same in volume of sales. Almost a year later I am stil trying to figure out what the problem is with my site. As with many ecommerce sites a large number of the product pages are quite similar. My first crawl with SEOMOZ identified a large number of pages that are very similar - the majority of these are in a category that doesn't sell well anyway and so to help with the problem I am thinking of removing one of my categories (about 1000 products). My question is - would removing all these links boost the overall SEO of the site since I am removing a large chunk of near-duplicate links? Also - if I do remove all these links would I have to put in place a 301 redirect for every single page and if so, what's the quickest way of doing this. My site is www.modern-canvas-art.com Robin

Copyscape Duplicate Content Ownership Question
We have a site that has had its content copied verbatim to numerous other sites and articles. We were advised to change our content but the content is originally ours. Does google take that into account before they apply duplicate penalties? And shouldn't copyscape be able to show this information in their reports? It just doesnt seem right that the originating author would have to change content because everyone else is stealing it. Any clarification on this?

Percentage of duplicate content allowable
Can you have ANY duplicate content on a page or will the page get penalized by Google? For example if you used a paragraph of Wikipedia content for a definition/description of a medical term, but wrapped it in unique content is that OK or will that land you in the Google / Panda doghouse? If some level of duplicate content is allowable, is there a general rule of thumb ratio unique-to-duplicate content? thanks!
